The best thing about Ep 11 was seeing Phayu's dad in multiple scenes & Rain at the Villa with his Camera. Phayu's dad is so handsome and has this main lead presence about him. He knows that his son has fallen for Rain and want to protect him from being hurt so he is telling him it's okay to leave which is abit sad though, but I am crushing on the dad, he's so fine lol.
Rain looked so gorgeous outside the Villa daylight scene, it had me thinking if something is going to happen to them at the Villa because that Dr Lady is abit suspicious trying to compare Dad & Son. Rain found out about the wine and his phone has no signal. I am predicting the Dr. Lady set something up to make it appear she really is gonna invest too but only Rain"s Dad money will be in it and the vibe I'm getting the Care Taker seems fake or is in something with the Dr Lady. I came to the conclusion without Rain & Phayu together in the same place, there is no steam to this drama, Watching the 2 leads seemed awkward in this episode like it was going backwards ffs.

How can 1 writer had me loving 6 of their dramas! The King: Ethernal Monarch, Mr Sunshine, Goblin, Decendant of The Sun, The Heirs & Secret Garden I was following another writers work here and noticed that writer was added on the avoid writers list so I clicked it only to find some other amazing story tellers on this list including Kim Eun Sook. Some people have alot of time on their hands to bring down these amazing body of work, but majority counts. I love love her work!!!
Yes, I noticed the flip phones and wondered about the year, too. Maybe they will jump ahead in years pretty soon.
Flip phones were used in the late 90s to early 2000s. Also MSN and Comic books were a thing. I feel they messed up with the period. They are in high school now so if that yr is 2005 and if they end the series in 2022 it will be 17 yrs later so they would be around 34 which they look way too young to pull off that age. I think the Art team did not research the yrs correctly or maybe he inherited the room from his parents lol.
I finally started watching ep1 and I am already excited because this took me back to my late teenage yrs hanging out at illegal race tracks watching my then boyfriend racing haha. I wanted to start watching when it just started airing but was busy on thursdays and just never got around it until now which I am kinda happy about as I get to binge all 4 eps and see how this story develope. I wont even read the reviews as it sometime can put you off. I am sure MAME did a great job writing this series too.
I love that the writer & director gave some me time to Eiw to finish watching the Movie and coming to realisation about his true feelings for Cake but it left him with questions as he felt that it is bad for him to think of Cake in that way. The talk he had with his sister Hom, was so needed and she understood him and was not judgemental which leaving Eiw more at ease because he now knows his sister is there for him and that hug was so needed after ep 4. I am not too sure about Sand, he is ok distraction but I kinda feel that he will bring problems to Eiw soon. Like Cake said to Eiw he doesn't know anything about his friend and Cake want to meet him as he is worried about Eiw which is a good point and I realise we only see Sand meeting Cake at the Bus stop but not in school so it's abit suspicious. The scene where Cake went to Eiw's room to talk, not just once but twice in this episode, he noticed Eiw is avoiding him even down to no eye contact lol. I love that about Cake in this episode and even from the first 1st episodes Cake cares alot for Eiw. He is just having some distraction with Rin and come to think of it, she has only been on screen at the football scene in ep 1 or 2 I think when she gave Cake the water and Eiw started to get jealous and became aware of his true feelings for Cake. And as usual how sweet it is with the intro, I feel priveleged to watch every Friday checking the calender off with a circle, so cute along with the boys anime. I was waiting up to watch when it aired but fell asleep. I am watching from the west coast (SoCal) and I love watching in the evening after dinner. It's just one of those dramas I want to watch when I am wide awake as I am well invested in each this series. Still trying to figure out what year it was but I wish the calender had the period date instead of the airing date. Maybe the answer is hiden somewhere, or maybe they will reveal the year after Cake return from abroad, who knows!
I found out about this Drama recently and how I wish I was watching in the same time it released. Really enjoyed it alot and I'm now a fan of Mew & Gulf.
I instantly became a fan of Mew after watching TharnType series couple days ago. He sure is special and acted so well with Gulf and I will watch more of his work. Just wow!!!

I noticed Shun saw that too but they missed out alot of continuity scenes from the beach to the shower then back to the beach, maybe for budgeting or just rushed.
I am trying to understand what is about to happen in episode 11 because the good bye scene in ep10 with Rain and Phayu hugging seems like a final goodbye, there was not much dialogue just slow shots of them and the dad looking at kim getting into the van. I think Kim is sensing something is not right with that lady also she just showed up that she is going that way and wanted a ride. She is setting them up and want to take the business away or something but it did not show anything about the company so it will be a surprise what will happen at the house they are travelling to. Another thing I don't get in the 2nd break scene when Rain appeared in the shower and kissed Phayu then it cut and Phayu appeared on the beach looking at Rain laying down on sand appeared like they made out but was all that a dream? Shun noticed it too and went to cry :( but something is still not adding up. Cause Phayu woke up in his bedroom reaching for Rain but only a pillow, what was he dreaming or did Rain get up early and he joined him for the run. When Kim was on the beach after he finished talking to Sun, he woke up from a dream so it's very puzzling whats going on there.
The writing and directing of many parts of this show is not continued properly and it's hard to read whats going on also the slow almost freeze moments with little and no dialogue is dragging. There was not any scene of them getting back from the camping trip so was part of it a dream? I was hoping for the main leads story to develope more as it's already 10 episodes. They dash in the steamy scenes of Rain and Phayu to intice us but it's not the main story of this show which in dissapointing. I can't recall many dramas side couples outshine main couples , this is definately one of them. It should be a balance as the story unfolds. Maybe it's on purpose to introduce another bl couple for their own drama series cause Noh & Peterpan have alot of chemistry so will see for their next projects.
Blame it on the Writer, Director & Casting Team, cause the side couple (Rain & Phayu) are stealing the show. I had to put on my specs cause I thought I was seeing doubles lol. Great episode, now the wait.
Currently on the last episode and I don't want it to end... Does anyone else have trouble finishing dramas bc…
@daebakaddict I was like you when I watched it for the first time, I never wanted it to end and I still listen to the OST on my playlist especially 'Perhaps Love' two versions of it. This song is how I discovered Eric Nam with his version and went to his 'There and Back Tour Concert' earlier this year in LA, crazy right?
There was alot of cuteness in ep4 especially the Camp scenes with Cake & Eiw until Cake mentioned Rin, but I totally understand, damn Eiw made me get teary for the first time in this drama. Him finding out about his true feelings after watching the movie and I think his sister already know, but wanted to check in with him. Just have to wait for Ep5 which looks promising.
