damn i really can’t stop thinking about this drama.. especially this line “i will never let anyone rip the love out of my heart. except for you, jom” I WANNA CRY
masterpiece, one of the most beautiful love stories ever written. also, yai. khun yai. this man made me repeatedly question my identity lol (i’m a lesbian). but like,, who wouldn’t fold under that intense gaze lol sir can you just chill a little bit with your heart eyes cause some of us (me) are struggling over here
They don't have enough content to fill an episode. It started with ep 9 where they showed us the same scenes of…
couldn’t agree more! the main conflict of the show was the love triangle and dad’s health issues, which both were resolved half-way through the show so what do we do next? there were actually quite a few ways they could go from there but they chose to throw some fillers that added nothing to the plot. the amusement park date was so pointless. and don’t get me wrong, i love Pear, but i feel like we know more about her than Pisaeng, a second main character. basically all we know about him is that he struggled with his sexuality and he likes Kawi. and why does he like him? cause he’s cute, we get it. but is there anything more to their relationship than that? they could focus more on that aspect instead of, like you said, repeating the dramatic dying plot
i really love this show but i gotta say it kind of lost its pace after episode 8. I don’t know if it’s just me that feels this way but yeah lemme rant for a bit. episodes from 4-8 were very solid and after that i expected the plot and their relationship to move a bit differently, there were too many fillery scenes in my opinion. like there were so many things happening in the future (where Pear married Not) and i wish they elaborated on it more. showing Kawi going to therapy also would be interesting, it could help him understand himself better since he struggles with it. but i guess we can’t get everything and i was disappointed by my own expectations. when it comes to KawiPisaeng relationship though: i know Kawi is a tsundere and his behavior is supposed to be cute (at times it is) but after his emotional confession i expected him to actually act on his feelings, show them. in the most normal, daily way. not only in the “i traveled time for you”. instead we got this annoying trope when one of the leads runs away and screams whenever his boyfriend wants to kiss him or show any form of affection really. it’s just too childish for guys that are in college. i know Kawi seems to have problems with affection and he was scared of having sex but i wish they just communicated it like they did with other things. simple as that. without it, it felt rushed and out of nowhere in the end. yeah, the montage of them living together was cute but after underwhelming episodes 9 and 10 it didn’t feel like enough to me. the acting is great, they have good chemistry and i like them together but i can’t help but think that Kawi could do a bit better when it comes to Pisaeng. anyways the final seems promising though so let’s see how it plays out!
what the fuck is this… when will the rape romantization end??? how do people can even enjoy stories like this? about victims falling in „love” with their rapists? it’s beyond disgusting
i just recently read the manhwa and loved it so much!! it was so beautifully written, a perfect combination of fluff and slight angst. so heartwarming. i didn't know it was getting a drama tho omg i'm so excited for this
I’m so mad. Why the heck would they cut this??? This fills in the biggest gap, omg
right?? i don't get why they decided to show us a 15 minutes long searching for alpha's thief instead of including this part where we finally see the leads communicate and explain everything. but at least we got it as an extra clip
omg guys, look at this! an extra clip with a conversation we all needed. they literally made me cry :( https://twitter.com/anotherbltrash/status/1378337992754913281?s=21
„You gave me this love for me to fulfill my lack of love. Thank you” im crying in the club. Shi De’s love actually made Shu Yi stronger
It's always Sam's episode. I don't really feel it from YU to be honest, unless he's pretending to like Shi De…
I actually think YU is doing well, but I see your point. I think they just have different roles to play. Sam with his character has more to work with right now. I feel like season 1 was more about Shu Yi and his POV and in season 2 we get to know Shi De more since in season 1 he was more mysterious. In the past 5 years Shu Yi really changed, after Shi De broke his heart, he’s not so energetic and bright like he was before. He’s really cold and reserved. At the beginning of the s2 he was just mad, but since sofa scene it was as if he has given up. Like he knew he would always take Shi De back no matter what, and he was overwhelmed by it. Now, even after he forgave him, I think he’s not showing many emotions and not speaking much like he was just still scared of getting his hurt broken. Though I wish they talked more about the things that happened between them, because silence is getting frustrating. But that’s how I see his character.
It's definitely Sam's episode. His acting? *chef's kiss* The way Shi De confronted Shu Yi's dad, omg, I watched that scene a couple of times and I still can't get over it. The confidence!! I'm so proud. And when he called him "dad" in Japanese, lol, such a tease. "If it can make Shu Yi happy, I wouldn't mind playing weak a few more times" omg?? Look at his expression at that moment! Sorry, maybe I'm overreacting, but it's actually a huge step forward for their relationship. Shi De is willing to give literally everything just to be with Shu Yi. It's beautiful. I think this thread explains well how much Shi De cares for Shu Yi: https://twitter.com/anotherBLtrash/status/1377972271004848132
Everything you say is so true. Spot on. I also find myself remembering Yuki's smiles and many of Akira's facial…
I totally get what you mean. This drama gives you closeness to the characters and their story, which seems unique, but actually is very universal. When you watch, you think "oh, I experienced something similar and felt this way at the time." And suddenly you're in a completely different place and experience it your own way, through your own story. I guess that's what it's all about. Definitely the word "magical" fits very well here. Magical and real at the same time!
I still can’t get over this BTS. Maybe the drama isn’t perfect when it comes to storyline but seeing how much work and soul Yu and Sam are getting into this story is amazing. They are passionate and you can see that they really want to understand their characters. Also, it’s heartwarming how they take care of each other and always making sure if they’re okay. They trust each other and it shows. And that’s what really makes this drama perfect for me. https://youtu.be/g8ilxJ0oyhM
I also like it a lot. It is true that it has holes in the plot, but I think the problem is the duration of the…
That’s true! It’s hard to deliver a good story in such a short amount of time. I think that people behind this drama are really talented, so it would be for sure so much better if they just had more time.
I actually really like this season. For some reason, I enjoy it even more than the first one. Of course the story could've been written better, without plot holes and this annoying 5-year deal. But I already know I want a next season because I love Sam and Yu together, their chemistry is crazy, both on and off screen. They're so natural. At this point I just have a good time watching this series, it somehow calms me down.
