What do you mean by "cheesy" concept ? I don't understand. Do you think the scene with drunk Gene and Nubsib in…
No, I didn’t say that. I actually wish there was more of this type of moments because there were really good, well acted. Other than that, don’t you agree that most of the time they’re just cheesy and silly? And i’m not really saying that it’s something bad. I actually mostly enjoy it, it’s a rom-com afterall. But I guess after seeing what they did in ep. 4 (the best so far) i’m more interested in their serious side, that’s all.
Let's protect Aeoy!! I feel so bad for him. I don't know what's going on with him and Saymork, but wow, I like their chemistry. So far this storyline is intriguing. I was getting kind of bored with this cheesy concept, so it's nice we have something more serious in the background. Also: I have a major crush on Tiffy. This girl steals the show every time she appears on screen. So gorgeous and sweet :( We need more characters like her.
I’m confused on why Shi Yu wasn’t more mad at his father. His father literally kept him and his lover away…
True. I also don't like that Shu Yi's father is now shown in some comedy way and no one seem to blame him, like he's just a funny dad with a son complex. Well, he loves his son, but he messed up his relationship and now he's acting like he did nothing wrong. And it also annoyed me that he told Shi De that it was all his fault. What the hell? Shi De isn't perfect because he shouldn't make such decisions on his own, but all of this wouldn't happen if the father minded his own business.
I think I'm in minority here when I say that I didn't like S1, at all!! I didn't even plan to watch S2 but I did!…
I completely agree! I liked s1, but it didn't leave a huge impression on me. I watched it not so long ago, but I have problems remembering what specifically happened. It was a bit chaotic. I guess the storyline that is all over the place is a thing for this drama and I'm not surprised since it's so short. It's hard to deliver a good story with so little time. But I feel like s2 is chaotic in a good way! I think the writing isn't that bad as most people say, the acting is so much better and we also have, like you said, an interesting second couple. The Doc was indeed creepy in s1, lol.
i love Sam Lin's acting! i felt that when he said "would you?" in that bed scene. but the music was too loud and didn't even fit the mood, it annoyed me so much that i had to write this lol. in this type of intimate and emotional scenes i wish there was none or almost no music. i don't know, that's just my preference
It's just as I thought. There's so much to talk about but they let the sexual tension ruin their current relationship even more. The way Shu Yi wanted to talk Shi De in the couch scene but he just kept covering his mouth and forcing himself on him pissed me off so much. But I must say it was funny how Shu Yi's dad exposed his "promise" with Shi De so easily lmao. I just hope there'll be more to it than just typical "I didn't talk to you for 5 years because your dad has forbidden me". This season is for now a bit chaotic but it's somehow promising and I'm also curious about Zhen Xuan and Shou Yi storyline. Zhen Xuan's similarity to L from Death Note is actually kind of surprising and original. I'm intrigued!
Kao is doing it on purpose - Sib's apparent personality is fake, so Kao is playing it stiffly. When Sib's real…
Oh, good point! I was focused more on how this line is maybe a way of mocking other dramas because this kind of possesivness is really common and exaggerated. It was odd that he all of a sudden said that so I guess he really showed a bit of his true side. If the story will go this way then he’s doing a good job: i believed in his stiff and kind of creepy side.
It might be the acting, but honestly, we don't know much about Nubsib. We don't understand what is motivating…
I agree: Up’s character is much more clear to us so maybe that’s why I feel this way about Kao, because of the contrast. I really want to see more of his character! If he’ll be like this till the end then i’ll be very disappointed.
i enjoy this series and i love Gene, he really stands out! but i don't really like Kao's acting... i don't know why, there's something stiff about the way he speaks and he just seems so emotionless sometimes. i know this is a parody but still - i think he can do better :/
i'll be ranting so sorry in advance as for the crime story itself it was pretty good. i liked the atmosphere and there were some really impressive shots. but, oh my god... almost all of the characters were unlikeable, creepy and just... toxic. and i didn't like how the writers in the end wanted to make viewers like disgusting characters such as Pued or his big brother. Pued and Rung was honeslty worth each other. are we supposed to like him just because he was killed, was Tan's brother and wanted to expose these criminals? of course only after Jan was dead, which in a way was also his fault, so honestly who cares about him at this point. also: where the hell are the parents of these kids, like Sorawit and Nam? aren't they under 15? Nam was in a hospital twice and no one even mentioned her parents. i don't get it. i'm not even asking about That 'cause this dude was a whole other mystery to me. and as for romance: i liked Max and Tul in Together with me but here they were so plain and i didn't feel chemistry. just chaotic and cringy. romance didn't really fit here. i guess this drama focused more on the crime. i wasn't invested in these relationships at all, they were somewhere in the background. overall it was good but the characters could've been written better and the ending with this creepy ass proposal was just a cherry on top. 6/10
This movie... so beautiful, important and, unfortunately, realistic. Sometimes I'm just so mad at the society we're living. A little kid has to reminde grown ups that there's nothing weird about two people in love. I wasn't really into this at the beginning since there's totally different vibe here than in the prequel. I feel like Shun and Nagisa switched characters. Shun was so cheerful but here... so sad and broken. Probably because of Nagisa, right? Their story and relationship wasn't perfectly developt, i want to know more about Shun's past. What was he doing when Nagisa left him? Just living alone all this time? I felt so sorry for him. And the fact that he accepted Nagisa's sudden return after all of this... wow. That hurt even more. Nagisa hurt them all. But honestly I can't even be mad at him. I'm just sad that because of some stupid society's believes he was constantly fighting with his true idenity and hurt people that he loved in the proccess. This movie isn't perfect and not really what I was expecting it to be but i'm glad i watched it. And even if there wasn't much romance going on and the focus wasn't on their story - i still felt their amazing chemistry. Also: Miyazawa Hio totally reminds me of Jaehyun from NCT. He's beautiful.
There are so many great things about this drama but it's the acting and their chemistry that got me right from the beginning. In my opinion it's really rare to see something like this. It was like watching two real people. Wow. One of the best performences I've seen. Yuki's smile and the look on Akira's face... I mean, cmon, is this even possible to love someone this much? Ah, I'm so jealous of them.
10/10. If I could, I would give more. This is the best LGBT drama I've watched and generally one of the best series. Seriously, so many important topics, breaking the stereotypes, good storyline, great humor, no cringyness. AMAZING acting, AMAZING writing, AMAZING music. I love how this series approached coming out and why is this such a diffucult thing to do. And different to everyone. Coming out to other people is scary but sometimes it's also hard to come out to yourself. When Karl talked with his uncle, I cried like a baby. I'm out of words because this series was so short yet did so much more than many other BL dramas out there. Just perfect.
Korean BL dramas hit different. this one... wow. it's now one of my all time favourites. great, simple yet beautiful story, amazing, natural acting, so many good characters. i loved the writing, it made me laugh so many times. of course there was also a time for crying and i'm not complaining because damn it was so beautiful. i just finished it and i already miss them (sorry for overreacting but omg there was so many feelings and tenderness, i just can't!!) this drama isn't perfect (it should've been longer, duh) but i'm giving it a 10/10 because they acted so well that i felt their emotions so deeply.
so cute!! sweet story, great characters. though i wish it was longer:( i can’t wait for season 2. oh, and also, i think i have a crush on Shi De’s mum, she’s so lovely
Also: I have a major crush on Tiffy. This girl steals the show every time she appears on screen. So gorgeous and sweet :( We need more characters like her.
i need to rewatch it because this scene can’t be wasted!
