It's not just a romance, he was trying to stop her vengeance and let her understand that she deserves a better and a normal life as her father wanted. The scene where they were in the cabin at the beach and she looked to herself in the reflection of the window glass was epic, it's like she was seeing how she can live a different life with someone she loves, she gave a weird look as if she saw a stranger in the window... Also she finally decided she doesn't want vengeance and she didnt run away as Pildo thought.... However Mujin was like the joker character, he wanted to bring out the monster he trained for years he didnt want to let her lead a normal happy life he was willing to let her escape so that only ome of them will live after they fight..... He killed Pildo to take away any hopes of good people around her. That twist is brutal but genius for me.

I think when someone goes undercover, even other police departments don't know about it, so he is treated as a criminal and is equally bad as the rest of the gangsters.
THIS CRIME SERIES IS SO GOOOOOOOD. The storyline is well written and got me hooked, it never had boring scenes to skip. All actors delivered their roles perfectly. I seriously loved everything about it.
My heart aches with each and every scene of Eun Seop and with the violin playing in the backgrkund it really hits so hard. Seo kang joon's facial expressions are on point and can convey the amount of pain and agony he has locked up in his heart. Seriously, this drama is really well written and directed, slow but not boring, calm but full of emotions, quiet but stirs up memories.
And of course the actors are beyond charismatic even the support actors are really good and interesting.
OMG OMG OMG I reached ep 17 and i cant go anymore and i found out that everyone will be dead by the end of the series, my heart cant take thisssssss, the writers made me get attached to all characters, i wanted them all to have happy endings
