It's a school festival, so it should be always around the same time. Just because they appeared it didn't change the school festival date. And their inteferences had nothing to do with the mother decision to make Se Kyeong leave early... It seems like a mistake, and they just went along with it because it was the best way to insert Eun Yu in the timeline....
One thing that is not making sense to me is the fact that in this "new" 1995, nothing happened differently to make Choi Se Kyeong leave early to the US. But in 2023 when she talks to her daughter, she tells her about the festival and the serenade? ? So in the original 1995 she left after the festival?? But there was nothing significantly different to make her leave early.... I'm confused.

yes, she was recalling it but she left before she could have done any of that. Yichan didn't even know she left at the time and they never hang out like that before she went abroad.
Episode 7 was so confunsing to me. The way her mother talked about her first love and the part about eating spicy food... but how did she actually did that? She left to the US before she had done any of that with YiChan. The one who did have that memory (eating spicy food) is her daughter who's impersonating her mother. So the question is: How come the mother has those memories if it wasn't her's but her daughter's? This part made no sense.
So.. does this mean that wathever her daughter did in the past in her stance became the mother's original memories???
And YiChan accident that made him deaf. Was what was shown just the repercussions of him meeting his son in the past and just a variant of the possible accident? By that I mean: if the son didn't came back to the past what kind of accident did happen originally? because we didn't see the scar...
