Hes a flawed character, which is so realistic compared to other dramas which are only love stories. and the female lead promised not to betray him by leaving him.

I feel like people are coming here to say they're dropping it and thats fine, but because he is arrogant? Maybe yeah he's a bit rude but his experiences in life have caused him to act this way, I don't think its completely off for him to be shut from the world or not to show time to children's play, his only goal in the beginning was to try make his sister's life better because he thought he let hid dad down.

Sometimes if you cannot understand a character emotionally it's because you haven't seen enough or been in a similar place to them, so it's impossible for you to get it, and thats fine.

There isn't but his life experiences made him the way he was. Sometimes if you can't resonate with a character is mostly because you cannot understand them.

People saying that Nanting taking time to recognise his feelings is toxic... it takes some people time to realise they are in love with someone, because sometimes feelings get confusing. If Nanting accepted her confession even without knowing his feelings then he would have duped the female lead
