Defo caused by a misunderstanding, he will probably think that she is only feeling a certain way because of Xueting (he will think her acting will be so good perhaps), when perhaps shes actually starting to fall for him. (idk how someone call for someone like him tho - although shes kind of already showing signs of recognising it, when he came back with the pastries).
Conflicted on today's episode because he keeps coercing her and harassing her - I dont abide by any of that, and he cant force her to have feelings for him. CX needs to understand that she is her own person, and she is not an object that he can own or control because he has power, money etc, and the fact everyone else wants to be with him (which makes him feel 10 times more entitled).
She needs to have a wake up call and stop thinking about Xueting (he didnt love her enough to risk it all instead of trying to protect her, they were pretty much empty promises that he has been showering her with for the last 4 years), only by waking up from this 'dream' will she be able to be stronger for herself, because then she doesnt need to force herself to submit to CX and she can leave because she won't need anything from CX anymore.
I don't like how that ended... Ping Jun shouldn't have to do all of that to save a man im sorry, Chang Xuan was correct when he said 'he didnt think about you when he did all of that', she shouldn't have to give herself up for someone who doesnt even care about her like that. Also CX is probably even more mad that shes only submitting herself to him because of another man. This is so toxic, I hope CX doesn't do anything to her (Idk if I can root for them together if he does)

Is it just me but after they got together the drama became so low stakes and more boring - I will keep watching though, hopefully it goes back to being good again
she is no different herself tbh. downgrading him so bad and involving/insulting his parent too. that is bad
He said it himself that he was interested in her because of the money, she didn’t make no assumptions there, she was just going based on her experiences and what he said. Insulting his parents, she needed an apology as well for him trying to be superior/dominating bringing her down by making up stories about her past to validate her behaviours (even if they were true, he has no right to be so invasive).
I don't like how Bu Tianna and Zhao Heng are together, if he wasnt so condescending to her before it would have been more ideal, why was she the only one expected to apologise :?
