Wow! Thank you for your feedback on my comment. It appears there are quite a few out there who are Song Zu Er fans. It seems that pretty, and cute are confused with beautiful. There are many pretty and cute females but very few can be considered beautiful. Judging from today's list of the most beautiful female actresses shown by bloggers on YouTube the standards for being beautiful have been lowered a lot. Even the actresses I mentioned earlier most of them would be considered pretty. Have fun and enjoy your summer. Aloha!
The casting director should have done much better in selecting a far more attractive, pretty, and mature for the main female lead. Song Zu Er falls short of fulfilling the role of being beautiful, or even pretty. Casting her with Liu Yuning makes her look less suitable for the role. Because the title of this drama emphasizes "beauty" viewers are expecting to see an actress above average in appearance and stunning such as Hankiz Omar, Liu Shi Shi, Li Qin, Peng Xiao Ran, Jing Tian, Liu Xie Ning, and Shen Yu Jie. If this drama did not have Liu Yuning and a good opening, I probably would not have watched it.
Watching a few of Victoria's movies or dramas is like watching the same film repeatedly because her personality and appearance are the same regardless of the role she plays. She reminds me of Allen Ren. They both have serious stern personalities in almost all of their roles. It is almost as if their co-star(s) need to compensate for their stiffness to carry the story. It is difficult to say they are good actors(s) because of the roles they chose. Seeing her in different characters would help her career.
The first film I saw Jin Mai was in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love with Leo Wu. I thought they made a cute couple and portrayed their characters well. She is a child actor who started at a very young age in a cutthroat business. She's done quite well for a 21-year-old and I hope she continues to receive offers for roles with good partners in good stories and movies. 加油 (jiayou)
I don't see a submit button, so I hope my list is submitted. The 10 couples I chose are in the order as I scrolled down the list to choose from. These couples have excellent chemistry and are wonderful actors and the dramas are so good that you don't get tired of rewatching them.
I've watched three of PGY's videos and he seems to be a good actor portraying three different characters. His characters in "Have a crush on You" is so different from "From Survivor to Healer" and "Princess of Lanling King". He does a pretty good job in the romantic scenes and is a good hugger, especially hugging a female that is much shorter than he. I like that he can play versatile roles. Being tall and good-looking also is a selling point. I look forward to seeing more of his work in the future.
I just started watching this drama and the MFL and her friend need to straighten out their teeth. I found it very distracting. I don't understand why actors and actresses do not think having nice teeth is important for their careers. No matter how good-looking a person is, crocked teeth take away the attractiveness of the face.
