I have mixed experience with this series. I enjoyed it because I can see some faces from Yanxi Palace, the chemistry, and the story. It is draggy. The actor who played Yiren is so adorable.

This drama is very exhausting to watch. It started strong but halfway until the ending is just annoying. draggy.

Im on episode 5 and it is boring. il put this drama on hold for now.

I enjoyed half of the series and then got tired of the never-ending schemes/framing. I jumped right away to the last episode but didn't finish it since Ive read some comments about the sad ending. If you love unlimited scheming drama then go for it.

I cant connect with this drama. the struggle is real. I don't feel the early chemistry or any interest between the leads. Im not sure if il continue this.

Fuca Fuheng destroyed my heart! I love the domineering vibes of the emperor. I like the slow burn trope but some scenes are draggy. whenever the concubines are activating their craziness I skip. Not really a fan of many wives/concubinage though I understand the reason behind it. Ruyi's Royal Love in the palace next!

I really want to watch this because of Story of Yanxi Palace hangover but I'm quite nervous, I don't think my heart will make it because of the ending. I read that both dramas happened in the same period. Im afraid it might affect my yanxi palace experience, especially with the emperor!

omg I'm ep 20 and enjoying it! its been a while since I felt this kind of excitement. its really empowering. the only thing I regret is watching those clips on youtube!!!!! I spoiled myself!!!!

wth is this?!!!!! I wasted my time on this stupid shit. I thought they banned this kind of drama shit already!!!!!! imagine I finish ep 15-25 within 30mins because of fast-forward button?! ONE THING THAT MAKES ME CONTINUE WATCHING THIS BECAUSE OF THE ML. He has a nice body😍 I don't know if I recommend this but yeah, we have our own kinks. is that the ending? really? "last minute let's hug each other before the credits ending" trope. Come on, that scene is not even strong. not my cup of tea, coffee, chocolate even water. I'm so sad because it has a high rating. good luck and watch it.

I finished tsatb. yeah its a never ending scheme of concubines. They keep on using same style to resolve conflict and it became predictable so I skipped alot.

interesting plot and Im thankful I watched it. I'm amazed by the acting skill of the ML. His cold and arrogant vibes are so natural. Im so unsatisfied with the ending. I feel like there is a missing element. Anyhow, it has an ordinary happy ending. don't expect too much. Il try the sword and the brocade. wish me luck with this historical drama! hahaha

Done watching this drama. I decided to watch this because of Leo Wu and Lu Si and the slow burn element. I'm much interested with the second couple. the character development of Hao Du and Li Le Yan. My heart is aching for Hao Du and amazement for Li Le Yan. Well done to both actors. Lu Si is so versatile with her roles. as for the slow-burn romance, I don't think it is slow-burn at all for the main couple. Anyway, what's with the kissing scene of the main couple? Honestly, I didn't feel any romance with that kissing scene, instead, it makes me laugh. really. Disappointed. It is worth watching but don't expect too much.

I've read an article about him creating a social media account to address the issue and hear his side, but they keep blocking him. it is so unfair. These people should be punished and be a lesson to those abusing their authority. Justice will be served. We'll be waiting for your return. Keep praying and fighting!

I've watched the trailer and makes me wonder if I should watch this.. I'm having triple thoughts about the story. The ML looks like 13yrs old while the FL 12yrs old.

This series started strong and interesting which will keep you hooked for the next ep. Sadly, there is a huge disconnection in the latter part of the drama. I felt like dropping it so I started skipping around ep 30s. Yes, it became draggy and boring. Last episode? happy ending? I don't know if that is a happy ending. it is a stupid ending for me.


I just watched this because of the ML. I will always support him and be his consort here in mydramalist. HAHAHAHAHA!

I watched until ep 6 and got a hunch about the flow of the ending so I jump to the last episode right away. Sadly, I'm right. I don't think I can watch the entire 62eps just for a short cliche ending. The series had a strong impact since the beginning and I expect a reasonable ending that is why I ready myself for this drama. Anyway, good drama with a good ending but don't expect a lot.

Such a great series. You can feel the chemistry is so natural and even with the side characters. I love the supportive cheng family, especially at the end. However, I feel so rushed for the last episodes. I enjoyed the slow-burn torture since season 1 and looking forward to their wedding but what happened?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHERE IS THE WEDDING?!!!!!! (yes all caps.) I'm not satisfied with the ending. The ending is so common, a literal reunion of all the good characters. Nevertheless, it is worth watching. If you are a fan of slow-burn drama wherein less than 2mins romances for each episode then I strongly recommend this. WHERE IS THE WEDDING?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😭

I watched this because of the ML and googled him. felt sorry for him because of the issues he encountered. This drama proves his talent. I love him and the whole series! I was disappointed by the script of the king. it is so inconsistent.

Ive been thinking about this series lately since I want a slow-burn romance in a sweet and exciting ride not a torture. I think I'll wait for more latest comments or reviews about this series because I just hate it when the couple becomes official near the last episodes or last quarter of the series or worst last 5 mins then credits!
