Cant be more agree with u in all u have wrote here. I have rewatch the whole thing 4 times in straight and giggling like crazy of every moments, each time! Before I now found out they all are newbies! WOAH its so amazing… all four actors did superb work! And I think its fair to say that the true hero here is the director. The most important thing in filmmaking is to make things believable. I’ll say they deliver in a sky hight level here! Love that they make me believe what i actually watching, if you get what i mean…
The most beautiful scene of Rain & Payu story is when Payu sang eyes to eyes, to Rain in the kitchen. You can feel the love in his eyes – so intense yet so natural. Which get me chills and make me giggling from ear to ear every time i watch this scene. The actor manages to transfer the feeling of being head over heels in love to the audience – Make me melting completely and my heart flying high in the air.
For me, the most beautiful scene of Sky & Pai story is in the ep 12. The moment when Pai kneel down and says he doesnt like Sky anymore, and Sky brusts into tears loudly. The moment Pai goes silent for a second because Sky cries so hardly. We can see so clearly that Pai has difficulty to continue his speech because it pains him to see Sky in pain. THAT is sooo realistic. THAT moment pulls out the best acting of both actors. That scene got me and hits me so freaking hard every time. I really love the two last episodes, they are the best in my opinion. So painful and difficult to watch and yet so beautiful done… Cant count how many times i watch these episodes anymore.
All this tell us about which level of acting skill we are dealing with here! ;)
I am still far, faaar over the moon with this series! What a fantastic and freaky adorable serie. The best way to describe my feeling after watching is; I’m so freaking – head over heels in love with this series!
But its as you said, this is not for everyone… The series IS fluffy, but in its own way tho thehehe.
Nothing about this drama (from the characters, their titles, to the plot) is serious and logical. You have to…
I agree with you that this drama is wayyy too long, for such a light drama as it is. Especially with the issue of deleted scenes. Me too skipped parts on the later part. Partly bc the outcutting/editting issue annoyed me and partly bc the humor "glow" is gone in the later part of the drama.
I like this drama. Maybe because I haven’t watch Korean drama for a while, my critic to this drama is more slack. But i can understand the issues that is pointed out here, by others. I can overlook many of that issues like FL's unstable judgement and the illogical strength that some of the characters have, and ect. I can accept that. Its a standard – or a golden rule if you want – in such action genre; the mains never die, no matter what.
But what was really hard to swallow for me is; WHY do they have to blur things out!? when the drama is obvious not meant to be family-friendly. And the film crew or the director could have done a better job with some of the scenes with the baby-doll/dummy. Make it not so freaky obvious. the techniques for that sort of thing should be better now in 2022 than back in 90s, right? And WHY is it romance theme in every single Korean drama, regardless genre the drama is in. Thats so tiresome, thats why I stoped to watch Korean drama. It really annoyed me in LUCA, Unnecessary much focus on romance here. Like the thing between Yoo-Na and Lee-Son, its not make any sense. As for the romance between the main couple, I understand its established to unfold the last part of the plot. But they could have make it far less melodrama-ish!
But as i mentioned in the beginning, I like this drama. The plot is cool and exciting with refreshing concept. And I love how era-appropriated the lines is in here. Made me smile from time to time. And the music is so spot-on here! 💕 And I had not watched anything of Rae-Won for a long time now. And the plot didn’t match up with his usual drama-style. So I was excited to see how he was doing in LUCA. Rae-Won’s acting has matured a lot. And he doesn’t disappointed me in this drama. I think he did a good job here. Its more like a directing issue rather than a acting issue in this drama, in my opinion.
The drama could been better done, I agree. But it is not a bad/poor drama. Not that bad to deserve so low rating, compared to plenty other dramas, in my opinion. 😞
Did you watch right until the very end of the credits?
Damn! I missed that. Thank you for the reminder. Ah-ha, now i understand why folks in here doent like the ending! Hahah confusion to the very last second huh! What a lovely production team! 🙈😘🙈
i hope they will make a legal maverick 3 to see finally a love story between sis dean and our perceptive man
What do you think? Do he has romance feeling for her? Or is it just blood siblings feelings?? I have a mix feeling about that.
And I just got the vibe and fear that the Dino's ending in this season was the way writer to outwrite this character for coming season. Simply speaking, I fear that it'll be no Dino for the next season.
Just finnished the series... hmmm... a sharp open ending? Do that means that we have a season 3 to look forward? If so, I hope the romance between Dino and Blind-hero will spring out more clearly. I mean, poor girl. She has running after him for two season now and for so many years and ending up like that? Its not fair. Hopes that Blind-hero can shows her his feeling about her more clearly if it gonna be a seasong 3.
