He was loyal to his friends and family till the very end and had those moments like him smoking in which you knew "ah that's a grown up man I guess, we all thought he was a baby because they all treat him as a baby". He was competititive like DS but not a scumbag.
And you're right PBG is hella good so no comparison with acting can be made here because PBG and KSH are great actors
