I saw those moments more as Teh falling for each of Jai's manipulations one by one. For the entire time, Jai was…
Wow this is amazing to me, how we can all watch the same thing and have a different interpretation. It’s interesting you mentioned manipulation, I personally have not seen Jai in a negative light through out. I actually see him as someone who supports Teh and not trying to hinder him. I also do not believe he is romantically interested in Teh or Oh. It would almost make the scene with Jai and that teacher irrelevant. However for a moment I did think, could Jai have kissed Teh as a cover up for him and the teacher, that’s the only time I thought he could be manipulative, but I quickly dismissed this idea.
As for Teh, throughout the episodes they deliberately make it as though Teh has fallen for Jai. I am not buying it, it’s too obvious. It’s seems to me what’s happening is when you are in a relationship, you can acknowledge looking at other people as being good looking or something like that but you can dismiss that coz you are in a relationship already. Except Teh has only been in 1 relationship and these are new feelings for him which he has to navigate, I personally do not think it has been show how he will steer this. That’s why I am so excited for next week.
I loved how Jai was teaching Teh to be aware of his feelings, surroundings etc. It’s amazing how you can see as the episode progresses Teh starts to notice things he normally would have not including how he sees Jai, like the leg touching and random stares. Does Teh really like Jai or is Teh just more aware of his thought process, feelings emotions, and now he is thinking if he is having these thoughts does this mean he might like Jai? This episode ended with a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the conclusion because I am curious about what’s really happening.
I also really like how they portrayed Teh and Jai’s friendship in this episode. I was invested all the way. and everyone should practice mindfulness.
He did. He felt it. It wasn't for rehearsal thie kiss was their attraction they felt. Whole episode was giving…
Yes you can look from episode 1, Teh has always had admiration for him and his seniors. In the context of what was being shown, it is plain and clear to me it’s just for rehearsal. That’s why i said what’s interesting was Teh’s reaction…. You say they felt the attraction however i choose to wait until next episode and see how they explore Teh’s emotions.
HA! Teh did not cheat (Well so i believe). That whole scene was them just practicing/rehearsing for the play, which shows by the nonchalant reaction from Jai after the scene. What’s more interesting is how Teh reacted in relation to how he is currently feeling about his relationship with Oh. Jai would be the 3rd person he has ever kissed and he seems to have this admiration towards him, almost like the story of Jai and James. I can’t wait to see how they explore his emotions further. Looking forward to next week.
Doesn't Pei Shou Yi have some kind of affective disorder? This would explain the way he approaches things.
Why can't they just communicate, this is boring. Let's be honest in real life, our lives are boring. It's routine after routine. One of the times things get interesting is when things are going wrong, become complicated or something out of the ordinary is happening. That's why we as humans love to gossip so much. Overall I actually like this season better. It might be because I am not keen on school settings much.
I thought this episode was great. I think there was somewhere where Sam said that the audience had to feel in some of the gaps themselves. For some of the information in the series to make sense. It is essentially 6 episodes so a lot of information will be missing.
In that end scene, it seems as though there are 2 sides simultaneously being told. On the physical side, you can see that both SD and SY want each other. The struggle is on the emotional side where SD has always been closed of when it comes to expressing his feelings, since season 1. If SY had not come out of the house SD would have never knocked on that door. So it is no surprise that he puts his hand over SY’s mouth to stop him from asking what is going on and what happened. SD does not know how to communicate his feelings
Personally, I don’t think SY looks scared however, I think he looks perplexed and confused because he does not understand what happened for SD to breakdown, the guy he is still in love with and you can also see his hurt as the tears finally flow before they both give in.
