I wrote a comment back to @CoNeTric which is also my reply to you. Rather than calling the actors homophobic shouldn't we first figure it it why such decision was made and who is responsible behind it and then raise our voice manner fully rather than using insults. Blaming innocent people will not help anyone nor the person who needs to learn a good the lesson for being the real homophobic will not learn anything! That's my point of view.

But ,imo, it's not criticism when you are barking at the wrong person. I keep seeing people saying because of LDH there is no kissing scene between kurodachi yet everyone is acting angry at the everything but the main source. If the rumor is true people should take their anger to LDH not to the actors or screenwriters! Screenwriter is not homophobic because if she was we wouldn't have gotten 2nd couple kissing twice and another unexpected ghost ship kissing! So there are some behind the scene we don't know about and calling names is not okay if the person is not in the wrong. That's my perspective

From what I understood from twitter and Insta the fans are not happy with lack of intimacy scenes. They expected kiss scene during date that didn't happened and now this ending and also some are saying lol why are they wearing clothes in bed scene lol. In other words people who wanted to naughty naughty scenes are very unhappy and they are taking it out on the screen writers and the actors and those who are defending CM. And yes many didn't like the ending they felt it was rushed and we didn't see them being a couple long enough etc etc. There is no end of complaining lmao.
