XY and XL have the most beautiful dates - it's always fun, they tease each other like a couple in love. They would make such a beautiful couple ...soulmates with deep understanding. Especially this last date in the sea, I keep thinking about it. Their "almost" kiss, him teasing her, them sharing a unique experience only available to them because of their demon blood, her cooking for him by the sea. I want to enjoy these moments, but it's not possible because I know what's coming for them. It's heartbreaking and really hard - it keeps bugging my mind and I can't let go.

just finished all episodes and I am super happy with the first season. The wait is hard, but at least we get to watch more episodes than with only one drama, only that way it's possible to stick so closely to the novel. So far almost nothing is missing, this must be one of my favorites c-drama so far. This year so many good ones came out, I can't believe how lucky we are. Next season is going to be nuts - a crazy roller coaster. I think it's good to have a break for now.

what the hell. thanks for explaining. this scene left me puzzled and now I even feel more sad for xl. this drama is seriously best in combination with the novel, it sticks to it closely and makes these comparisons really worthwhile.

in the book I didn't really know that the reason why Xuan had to fight to stay in central plains was because he found out about XY father and knew her path would be hard without his protection. it was nicely shown in episode 34 when he found out the truth. I always just thought that he only used that info to cut her bond with haoling, in order to proceed with his war (and of course keep her out of it). it was nice to see that it was this info that led him to fight harder to stay in central plains.

He has had it hard in the past, but because of that he can stand firm today believing in his values. Great character.

YES! One of his few best moments - I loved that he didn't waver, since usually it's all about gaining power no matter the cost. It's great to see him explain that there exceptions to him!

+1. also cx did not know Tsj is that capable. he always thought it’s fl who came up with this plan to go for central plains. only in the end did he realize it was all tsj‘s doing and that he is definitely capable to protect XY.

Yes exactly! Dubbing is hard and these are foremost actors and not dubbing actors. It's not always off - just some scenes it's not done correctly.
