this is the whole point of the show. older woman gets mesmerized by a younger one who could be after her money…
based on the two versions i saw (english and italian), it’s about romance as well because the woman fells in love with the guy and we don’t know what the guy really wants. but i’m curious: why don’t you like the romance part? because of the age gap?
i'm waiting for Kim Hee Ae's comeback sooo much! couldn't care less about the project, though. I watched the british version which was well written but dull, and i watched the italian version which was hot but very badly written and the male lead simply cannot act. the female lead on the other hand was great!
It looks interesting but I read The Dinner and it was a good book but an uncomfortable read. Still might be interesting…
i also read the book and saw the movie this weekend in Barcelona. it's different. some basic facts remain, but the rest is completely different. it's a good film, though. just don't compare it with the book ;-)
what's with that weird filter they used in the show?! it got on my nerves... is this the new reality of kdramas? if so, soon i'll be gone, because i found outrageous Korean's longing for perfection that doesn't exist and those beauty standards that are ridiculous. Lee Young Ae is so beautiful, she doesn't need those filters, for cryin' out loud!
pfff, this is beyond disgusting, Netflix. if he were an American actor you wouldn't mind releasing the show without reediting it. Korean society is phoney and hipocrite and you shouldn't abide to them. shame on you! and to the writer of this article: why didn't you hyperlinked YAI's name in the article?! shame on you, too.
but i’m curious: why don’t you like the romance part? because of the age gap?
