Dropping this for now after Ep 15. Please let me know if the Empress remains in a perpetual state of depression or not. I appreciate the drama and how it's filmed, but I personally can't stomach how the Empress' character is being treated; and apparently, it doesn't get better. You have to really watch this drama with an objective mind.
A naive and impressionable girl goes through life’s toughest challenges to emerge a naive and easily manipulated women.
Very minimal character development for the FL. She fails every mission given to her and does not learn from her mistakes. The whole arc of her getting captured and tortured did nothing to further the character. I would have thought she could have become a stronger willed character but disappointingly she was still indecisive and unsure of her path. Her bleeding heart is actually annoying. Why not assign her to kill evil men so she can actually utilize her character as an assassin?
Overall, it had potential but was botched with poor plots.
