That older guy that Hae in saw in Germany was Hyunwoo when he got older. I'm sorry why was that actually so perfect…
You’re welcome. But yeah still they could have shown us that they lived long life and aged together so no need to show which one would die first hahah :”)

Ikr :( but I think that was necessary for viewers who are worried about the female lead having shorted life because of illness or tumor growing back again etc. so they showed us that she lived a fairly long life. plus I believe that the hospital in Germany is actually sponsoring the show with a new technique to cure cancer so that was necessary for advertisement.
I watched my first Kdrama in 2008, since then, I have only completed 7 series including Flower of Evil, so I’m still a newbie. I saw many users here commented that this is the best Kdrama ever, but I hope it is not.
Simply not what I expected from a drama with such a high rating. I do watch and enjoy older dramas, but this one lacks something, maybe as someone has mentioned earlier, it has less side characters, plus the plot is too straightforward. I might have enjoyed it if I had watched it earlier :)
When I started watching this drama, I was always thinking that the only chance for the two leads is to “meet” each other in Switzerland or any neutral country, which sounds more rational than getting married or whatever. But when I saw a comment in somewhere in the internet where someone is saying “they will end up together” which made me think that they will actually get married and live in Switzerland. While the photos and captures are everywhere spoiling the ending, I watched the last episode with higher expectations that they will eventually end up together, so I didn’t feel “extremely” emotional about the last episode’s heartbreaking farewell scene in which Jung Hyuk returned to North Korea. So after finding out that they actually didn’t end up together but only meeting there for 2 weeks every year made me kinda sad because I was expecting a happier ending :( so right now my heart aches for two reasons, because I finished this beautiful drama, and for them not completely ending up together :( and not wearing that wedding rings that he gave her earlier anymore :(
I watched this drama 10 years ago and I forgot everything about it except few scenes of the last episode (particularly the scene when Kimura is talking to the dead dog saying “mada karada attakai... something” which was heartbreaking 😢 I think I should rewatch it soon.
