There were certain moments that made me a bit frustrated but I personally found that the way things turned out felt right, though somewhat unsatisfying. I guess what I took from it was that, the second she decided that the notebook didn't determine her value it lost its power because the series is really about what narratives we tell ourselves and give power to. The second she gave power to the narrative that she was loved and could, in turn learn to love, she realised that she wasn't surrounded by hate. Safe to say ... it really got me in my feels.
The novel that this was based on was actually a mature one and involved transmigration. If I remember it correctly,…
Is there a separate reason why transmigration wouldn't have been approved for release? Or do you think it's just related to the mature nature of the book and censorship?
I love it when dramas find me at the perfect time, this was one of those!
-The pace is what kept the story strong, it felt intentional and organic -It was so well acted. At times I even found myself understanding the characters that I didn’t particularly like -Ultimately the story though not unique was well executed and felt warm when it needed to -9/10 from me (=
Ngl the secret sub-plot with the secretary organisation that compensates for company injustice could be a solid plot line for its own separate drama 🤔. On that note, any recs based on that description would be much appreciated
He's shirtless in DP?! Guess I'll be bumping it up my list. Hee Hee
I'm very curious about whether it's linked to the story or if it's just an unusual translation.
