Honestly not sure One person said that in the novel Pha wasn’t very important and was only briefly mentioned Maybe they decided to keep his character simple and unimportant so they didn’t want to show a face and give him a big personality? Maybe giving him a face meant they had to add emotion and personality to his character? Who knows but those are my guesses

Obviously Wayu is going to be sad but he’s never intentionally guilt tripped Thanu And the last episode basically confirmed that Thanu and Wayu were supposed to b together from the start and Thanu gained genuine feelings or Wayu long before he met Phai So since he genuinely loved Wayu of course he will feel sad when he sees Wayu sad Guess we just see these characters in different ways

He never actually thought of phai when they weren't together anyways Also, I don't think Wayu’s personality is "miserable" it's just that when you love someone that much, their absence can break you. Not to mention the fact that pha gave wayu hope only to crush it afterwards 3 whole times. Then when wayu likes someone else he’s ignored by that person? That hurts. All this did take place throughout the season but heartbreaks can take time to heal and feelings can take a while to blossom so I don't blame wayu for being sad. I guess we just haven’t gotten the chance to see more of wayu’s personality because of other people hurting him but that's not his fault.
