since when did douban became so important ? lol .. one thing everyone knows is that douban ratings today does not reflect netizens opinions but haters'

specially for a drama like fiys whos got devoted haters

on douyin too, the drama is the top drama and cheng xiao and xu kai are on the top 10 and they dont even use douyin haha! on kuaishou (kwai app) also its like douyin but bigger, cheng xiao earned hundreds of thousands of followers without even posting ... and the drama is the top drama there too

the haters must have been furious knowing this drama remains unbothered haha

very low on douban but on data sites, its varies from top 1 and top 2 most popular chinese drama right now, and they also recorded a 100+ million single day views on 6/30

the articles by the chinese ent sites and other chinese translating accounts on twitter does not really do justice of covering this whole controversy, they do not even put the fact that outside of weibo, theres barely hate and that this drama is doing very well, despite that low douban ratings, who does even care whats in douban??that site is celeb haters' paradise

the hatred of "some" of those esports fans does not really reflect all of the esports community, esports companies and other esports group fans, how can i say that? ok hear me out .... this is mostly about cheng xiao and the esports circle that shes part of ...

1 - the drama is doing extremely well despite their so-called "boycott" from the "community" / group
2 - the drama viewers, other cnetizens and other esports fans have different views and apparently some people just wants to enjoy a sweet drama, stress-free ..
3 - when cheng xiao and xu kai accepted this drama and when the trailer was released last year, both got dissed and cursed by those esports fans but they still accepted esports endorsements and events, specially cheng xiao who had a contract with douyu (china's top gaming streaming platform) and several mobile game endorsements and countless gaming events where she was playing with professional esports players, it was 3 live gaming events and also 4 streaming events if im not mistaken, all played with professional esports players and coaches from lpl (the league of lol), kpl (the league of king of glory), and pel (the league of peacekeeper elite) and other gaming events for her endorsements -- that itself already answers whether or not the esports players, teams, brands, companies and community boycotted the drama or them ..
4 - the drama was based in the game lol, cheng xiao is known in the esports community not only because she's one of the top chinese celebrity gamers but also because she has many esports player friends and fanboys, most known would be fpx crip, he is china's top league of legends support and is also the world's top support as they won in the 2019 world championship, and guess who sent the team's cheer message for both chinese championships and world championships?? it was cheng xiao for both
5 - gaming brands continued to cooperate w the drama and leads

exaggeration would be the right word for the reaction and how others have presented this controversy, yes the fans who hate this has been flooding the drama and leads' weibo and rated the drama low, and yes they have been cur*ing and dissing xu kai and cheng xiao for this but we all know it'll pass soon and we know that the esports community surely is not boycotting anything because one of the drama cast, gao han will take part in an esports gaming event this month ... so everyone ! dont mind them, just chill and enjoy the drama !!

THE DRAMA IS GOOD, LITERALLY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS FOR IT! A LOT OF US CAN'T STOP REWATCHING AND CANNOT WAIT FOR NEW EPISODES EACH DAY! THE COMMENTS IN HERE, IN INSTAGRAM, TWITTER AND YOUTUBE ALSO BACKS UP THE FACT THAT THE DRAMA IS WELL LOVED BY A LOT OF PEOPLE~~~

this drama brings joy and happiness, and i hope those esports fans would realize that no one would make a drama to disrespect a certain community, specially where it is based upon

yes esports is very competitive, but so does other sports and you see countless sports romance dramas out there and no matter what the plot is, it is normal because it is just a drama, its fictional

i do think, the esports fans who are hating this drama are quite immature and overreacting
but also, i think its funny how they have been bombarding weibo with so many hate posts, they literally occupy the search results and comments, data is data in the eyes artificial intelligence, they kept on saying to boycott it when they are the ones actually promoting it by always taking about it

i think the people who rated this low are the people who like sad dramas

there is now way you'll rate this drama low if you appreciate laughing out loud

honesty is the best policy for this drama hahaha they are all so honest and hilarious of course hhh

and cheng xiao is so damn pretty

if the drama team made the FL mature and the best already
in the first few episodes then it can only go downhill from there

of course it'll start off cutesy, fooling around, and when the season starts, she'll focus of course
she'll improve and learn many things along the way, she only just joined them and its still preseason

i think on the next episodes, the league season will start

its just that they made jian yang more clingy than the jian yiang on the novel
