the one's existence who is centered around qin lie is song ting yu! the girl is literally always chasing qin lie ..its not ling yushi (yushi cares and thinks about qin lie but does no chase him around head over heels like STY)
its a given that she will be sad about finding about the past life of qin lie and song ting yu(about her calming down qin lie.. we dont know anything about that much as of now but lets say they are close in the past when they were little)
in the present, ling yushi she grew up w qin lie and loves him dearly and is the only family she knows that is alive, all her emotions is very valid, she has every right to be sad but the fact that ling yushi didnt go with qin lie is so impressive to me, that already shows how mature she is and is taking responsibility of her race than going with the man she loves.. meanwhile song ting yu (just cant take being away with qin lie)
as i said qin lie is very unpredictable and ling yushi deserved better, as the mother of lands and a the nether race queen, she'll be sacrificing many things for the sake of her people
and g od i hate the heavenly and human race so damn much

this drama is for sure more efficient than most chinese dramas with 40-50eps in the past months that has like tons of filler episodes that are boring
same!! i actually didn't expect much for this drama because id rather watch wuxia over xianxia but i was so surprised by the quality of this drama!
you know that feeling of unexpectedly liking a drama and it just makes you want to discuss and eager to watch more eps ~
