Can't say so. As with the magistrates, I prefer a more cruel ending. It's better for the evildoers to rot in the prison or repent in some way for the rest of their remining life, but I guess it's better to get rid of them for good. We all know how it works in chinese dramas - if you don't kill it, it will come back one way or another and make trouble again xD

The whole drama revolves around the theme of an opera performance (taking on different identities, schemes, caricatures) and chess game. I actually like it because their personality and action throw me off.
