haha fine ~ xD In the last episode of PA "season 1" they both realize their feelings when WY falls into a deadly trap of the SML. Well, it's more that XR is the one who finally knows who she truly loves. WY becomes a human shield to saver XE, she herself fights off the enemies to protect him. It ends on a cliffhanger as badly hurt WY is telling her to live on and falls into the ice lake. She jumps in to save him, but he pushes her away. She makes it out. The end lmao You can kinda feel the pain huh? xD
Jeremy is quitting acting. He couldn't tolerate his agency anymore which was making him do dramas every year w/o breaks, act in young roles and even act in two dramas simultaneously. BaiLu seems to be acting in dramas nonstop. Supposedly her agency is telling her so as she is still young, famous. Nowadays, new promising stara are on the rise, so I guess they worry she might lose fame lol. We might never know, she seems like a very energetic person that loves acting. Just hoping she won't experience burnout.

Chu Xiao (Xing Er) and Wen Yu finally get together after being separated for a few years due to *big spoiler which I am not sure if I should reveal lol*. When they find each other they talk things out, become a couple and in the meanwhile they both do their respective missions, she gets pregnant, they fight some more battles that unite all the states. There is also an epilogue chapters about their daily life 😀

PA is much more mature and heavy in many aspects. It is worth watching. The second part of the novel was never done, because of plagiarism scandal. Had it happened, it would have been glorious, I bet. The novel's ending is HE, so maybe give PA a try and watch TLOSL/read the novel for closure ;) Personally, I haven't recovered for years until TLOSL lol I was miserable for weeks but still held onto hope because they were planning season 2. When the scandal news broke out and it turned out second season would never come true, I was a literal wreck xD

XZ was a prankster until his friends perished. I love the fact that XZ's full mischievous side resurfaced when he boldly decides to be with ShenLi for real. Leading a married life he is finally free to unleash his gremlin self. ❤️

Actually, all gods in xianxia are supposedly genderless. We had that discussion and it is thought that there is no explanation, just following the novel. OR women are more emotionally complicated or they just wanted to reaffirm the times when in China males were more valued/patriarchy.

I've got the answer ;D In the beginning it seemed to be a reference to PA ( the Cangwu bird,YY's parrot, was super annoying and rude) but as the story progressed it turned out to be actually a reference to how ShenLi, as a chicken, was rude to XY in her most humiliating state that she's ever experienced. Then, after XZ had a brief conversation with ShuShu he realized that not only the phrase "like master, like dog" applies to them but also that he should have treated ShenLi in the mortal real better as she was in a very vulnerable state back then. Moreover, in the novel ShenLi wasn't as pretty looking as a chicken. She was literally naked and had some fried feathers. She looked hideous haha. Thus, XZ made ShuShu pluck its feathers to make ShenLi realize that he is, in fact, XY and that it is kinda a pay-back for being unsufferable a bit.
The heavenly animals are often teased and hmm... abused if you may in c-dramas/movies as they are used as a comic relief and considered more difficult to hurt/get killed than mortal ones.
The same goes for the pig. It survived all right. It actually got saved by ShenLi and ShenLi did it to kinda show XZ who's the boss xD
