Wow, I've watched alot of Thai lakorns, and I can say confidently that this lakorn is the only one on MDL that has a 10 rating given be reviewers. I'm not talking about commentators, but actual reviewers who took the time to watch the lakorn and write a short critique on the lakorn.
A lot of lakorns on MDL are given ratings less than 7 compared to their Chinese/Korean counterparts simply because of trigger-worthy scenes, with no fault of actors or their acting, however, these actors aren't given the ratings they deserve simply because of triggering scenes that are decided upon by the writers and producers.
However, I would find that most of those lakorns are a nice watch (just skip the triggering scenes) and the actors do their best to give us a good show. Yet, if those dramas are given a low rating, then this drama which even MDL users gave a 10/10 to, imagine how great it must be!
There's something I don't understand . . . are the revolutionaries on the other side of Yangtze river mentioned in the drama the communist party or is it the warlords the communist side? Just kinda interested in history little bit.
You should give this a try. I couldn't get past the first ep of watergod. This is soooooo good..it sucks u right…
Hmm . . . now that someone has actually told me it's good, then I'll definitely check it out! Probably after it's completed though, lol. Just in case ;)
Um Idk about this one . . . I was pretty disappointed in the last godxhuman drama I watched (Bride of the Watergod), so . . . yeah Imma wait to watch the ending first, then decide if the drama is worth watching, cause I don't want the heartache that seems to be inevitable at this kind of setup.
Good luck to all other viewers though. If anyone wants to give me spoilers, please do.
OMG!!!! AAAAHHHHHHHH! I just saw the trailer, for some reason my youtube feed has changed **Sad face** . BUT THIS IS SOOOO GOOOD!!! I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED THIS IN MY LIFE, BUT NOW I DO ASAP!!!!! 2022, COME SOOONNN! I. AM. WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to break your hope that you cannot time travel... lol. This article is pre-scheduled to be published on…
Hmm . . . I think it doesn't matter if two biologically unrelated individuals get together. Even if they are step-siblings or grew up treating seeing each other as a sibling, as long as both of them are okay with it, and their feelings are now completely romantic towards each other and not sisterly/brotherly, that's completely fine. In fact, since both of them grew up together or have seen each other in their formative years, they can better understand each other and would love each other more for it! I have always loved the childhood sweethearts trope for this same reason.

It's a great article, and I also commented on your previous article on the Top 10 C dramas! Both articles were well-written, and both gave me more dramas to add to me PTW list, lol.
You know, I had watched Well-intended love and I can see why most people would end up completing it. Although, it's a very low-budget drama, but the storyline is too shoujo-ish that shoujo fans would end up staying for that. It certainly gained enough popularity to warrant another season! It didn't have anything new to it, with its old-fashioned tropes and characters, but I found it had its own charm, I guess.
Oooh! Itazura Na Kiss and its other adaptations/remakes were not my first drama, but it was in the Korean version that I first saw such a sweet, caring and sometimes silly MIL! I loved the fact that she loved the girl more than her own son and would often just take her side no matter what! This drama was the first time I ever saw a Mother-in-law character being portrayed positively and not as a potential roadblock in the leads' love life. After watching this, I actually went on a searching spree and ended up watching all the different versions of INK, and then finding similar dramas with nice MIL's! It's not the norm but you'll be surprised how many dramas you can find if you don't consider country barriers!
Yeah, originally I planned to watch Court Lady for Xu Kai but it didn't really focus on him and the FL, so I didn't…
Yeah, I think so. According to comments and news/blog articles, the main leads don't have many romantic scenes for them to do the "Romance" tag justice.
