I love both the seasons. In my opinion, we shouldn’t be thinking so deep about Nanno’s character. Yes, indeed,…
Sure ! I respect the way you see it.
I am just the kind of audience that focuses on the plot more. Common sense etc... Also, because of the hype, I went in with pretty high expectation ( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)
I think if I went it without knowing anything, I might like it more!
Thank you for reading!

You are not the only one. I watched it and was disappointed. It didn't make that big impact on me as I expected…
Yes, I totally agree. The concept is good, just the execution is inappropriate, so to speak. That's why I say it can be the problem of having multiple directors as all of them have a different mindset.

I have watched season 1 and 2 respectively. I don't mind the weird FL, still an entertaining drama though. But…
Yes, the whole point of the show is to raise awareness on stuff that are normalize mainly in Thailand. I think as long as the audiences don't imitate whatever they do in the show then it's safe to watch. I wouldn't say the same for kids though!

Not gonna lie, Season 2 just lacked the replay value because there are (at times) watching some moments that are…
I really don’t like Yuri either ! I still can’t understand why Nanno made her immortal :(
S2 is just filled with violence and gore.

Thank you for reading ! I hope they make Yuri disappear in s3😂 ( and junko)

I think you're trying too hard to rationalize what Nanno is doing. As @larami and @Dalarsi already commented,…
Nah, I’m not exactly rationalizing what Nanno do XD

You see, everyone in the series wasn’t really that bad to start with. If Nanno hadn’t appeared, would they do the same decision they make in the show ? Because as if Nanno will stop unless she made them do whatever she initially intended for them to do. They say Nanno is not forcing them to do but she’s always leaving some of them with no other choices.

I know Girl from Nowhere are based on real life events and that’s what made this series special. But the plot itself takes away a lot of attention from the lesson or message they wished to delivered from the start. It’s quite distracting, so to speak.

But your point is not wrong either !!
I might just be someone who focuses too much on plot and therefore misunderstand the whole show.
Thank you for taking the time to explain and reading it !

it's cause you're trying to justify it instead of enjoying human suffering, and how they bring it on themselves…
I guess I couldn’t quite process the punishments or the decision they make is because I know I would have never done whatever they did in the first place. I just couldn’t really put myself in their shoe :’D
But I guess the whole point of this show is to show how human make decisions on their own will to protect their pride or how wicked human can be.
Thank you for explaining and reading !!

I thought S1 was ok, but S2 was definitely overhyped in my opinion. The excessive violence—especially against…
I know !! The violence in s2 was so unnecessary!! You could still find some common sense here and there in S1 but s2 is straight up nonsense XD
Nanno’s laugh is extra annoying in s2.

I enjoyed S1, can't say the same for S2. I see Nanno as chaos, not justice so I never questioned logic and fairness. In…
Yuri destroyed s2.
Thank you for the explanations! Now Dino sounds so bad now haha but I agree XD
