honestly it wasn't THAT bad :') if u were able to enjoy coffee & vanilla then this one's for you lol it was actually pretty entertaining to me like don't take it seriously and just watch it for fun! but i understand that it's obv not for everyone especially for those who are not used to this type of unserious/cliché manga adaptation >< imo the cast did so well portraying every character i binge watched 9 eps while reading the manga at the same time and i believe the adaptation was well done! for the plot i can't argue much bc they stayed true to the manga's so it's only fair to criticise the manga's storyline rather than the drama's .-. and it does fall short but oh well ig this is another work to add to my guilty pleasure jdramas list x)

tbh i didn't expect it to be THIS funny like the type of funny that makes you cry from laughing, pause the ep to take a breath bc you lost all of it from wheezing and finish those >45 mins with an aching jaw and stomach? like pls from the op ost to the epilogue there's not one single dull moment every scene is fresh and light i really want to applaud the cast for acing this adaptation there are some scenes that are too webtoonic to be acted out irl yet they still pulled it off in such a silly way i can easily see myself rewatching this drama every time i'm seeking a good laugh

it's been so long since i've felt an endless sense of fulfilment throughout 16 eps of a production it's really incredible and i feel so lucky and grateful that i was able to watch sth so intriguing in a way that carries a balanced mix between feeding the mind heart and soul and entertaining at the same time i can't thank enough every single person involved in giving life to such a legendary drama <3

this one took me by surprise!! i just thought imma give it a shot bcs of jaechan and munik but wow i didn't know i would love it this much the acting was so natural and smooth and the eps felt neither slow nor fast the drama has an appeasing pace and it managed to make me cry like a baby at the end :( they did so well approaching the whole 'post high school path question mark' i'll see if season 2 will deliver a similar (or maybe better) performance:)

when i remember jaechan describing semantic error as a gift and seoham considering it almost like a dream/miracle i really felt that on a personal level:( it's like the drama brought light into its actors and viewers' life and i'm so grateful for that it's been a while since i looked forward to sth as someone who dreads the arrival of a tomorrow it'd be exaggerating if i said that the drama brought meaning to my life all over again but i've literally gone back to listening to music and actually enjoying it thanks to the two osts and dongkiz's discography i've also found the motivation to work on my korean again and most importantly i was able to laugh wholeheartedly and feel so many emotions i've lost the ability to genuinely express for the past months i hope i get to experience this again with another drama per your words bcs i dont know when the semantic error/suamchan effect will fade 😭 and thank you for your sweet and comforting words!! semantic error really does bring in together the loveliest of ppl 💗

i developed this healthy routine of checking the comments here after watching a semantic error ep and it's just so heartwarming to witness everyone having fun and peacefully enjoying the drama to the fullest 🥺 i would love to praise semantic error with all the existing positive words in the dictionary but i feel like the comment section itself is representative enough of that i can't even add up to y'all's feedback bcs you got everything on point 😭 so i'll just take this from a very personal pov and say that this drama had such a healing impact on my mental health which i didn't realise except for now since we're getting the last ep in less than 10 hours i've been having such a tough time and somehow being busy with the content watcha has released helped a lot from the drama's behind the scenes to the two live commentaries on youtube and live magazine interview on twt, from seoham and jaechan's wholesome interaction on insta and the cine21 photoshoot it's just incredible how this drama naturally grew and touched everyone by its overflow of emotions they swiftly managed to capture our heart thanks to their chemistry and the amount of comfort suamchan share as their friendship grows is memorable to witness!! this drama will always be special to my heart bcs not only did it drop at the right time for me but it also introduced me to dongkiz's discography which i'm quite obsessed with rn and many lovely ppl notably aris, i'll make sure to support dongkiz's upcoming comeback and wait for seoham until he is discharged from his military service, in the meanwhile i'll be having countless marathons of these 8 eps hoping we'll be lucky enough to have a second season in the near future 🥰

i was actually looking forward to this and i didn't want to judge it based on the first ep but now i just finished watching the second one and i'm having mixed feelings... idk why it seems to me like there's sth off? maybe it's the pace of events or the way they're retelling the story that isn't right bcs the setting and actors are fine by me though the production lacks a lil bit shooting(?) wise like the lightening/camera angle/scene motion and so on could be so much better imo. i think i would've dropped this if i haven't been a huge fan of the manhwa bcs my level of excitement has gone below zero when it comes to anticipating a weekly ep and it's very unfortunate:(

this was an emotional rollercoaster... i won't deny that i didn't bond that much with the characters but their bond itself was enough to make cry at the end so that must say a lot i just have so many ???? in my head abt the open (?) ending i loved how they opted for such a resolution plot wise but it could've been more satisfying if they presented it in a clearer way :(

aaa the first ep was really up to my expectations!!! the direction was so nice and the actors are doing well, so far so good! i'm looking forward to how they're going to portray sangwoo and jaeyong's relationship development it looks entertaining already based on next ep's preview ^^

i was looking forward to this series but oh well... couldn't get past the first ep so i just fast forwarded until i reached the fourth part of it and as expected saint's acting is incredible so natural and genuinely funny. this simply might not be my cup of tea bcs i'm pretty used to the comedy in thai dramas but unfortunately i couldn't get into it here:( i really loved the whole concept of secret crushes and all but idk it felt too much like it would've been much better if they omitted the whole 'obsessive' aspect to it personally it freaks the shit out of me and it's repulsive when it comes to enjoying the development of the main couple's relationship it was such a turn off same goes to the portrayal of the support of his friends i know it's very common to hype-scream but it's getting to the point where it's no longer cute/funny? anyways, the cinematography is nice and the script is so-so but not enough to save the series for me
