If the drama isn't cancelled the backlash is gonna be worse for the entire cast, tbh it'd be better for EVERYONE if it got ended sooner rather than later. Still can't believe JTBC pushed through with this mess
I never rewatch kdramas no matter how much I love them, and I really thought that homcha would be the first one that I did rewatch because of how much i fricken loved it for its entire run, but no :(
the fact that this show made it through 16 episodes without dragging or becoming boring at any point already makes it superior to just about any other kdrama romcom ive ever seen. perfect character development, character relationships and just about the best finale episode ive watched. 10/10 i will miss our sikhye couple and gongjin fam :((
episode 13 might be my favorite one thus far honestly. and hyejin has every right to be upset imo, she's opened her entire heart up for dusik so its natural for her to feel like it's an imbalanced relationship with dusik being just as closed off as he was at the start. and its not like shes overreacting or angry at dusik, she simply says that she'll give him time. what more could you ask for from a woman trying to make things work with someone vastly different from her? some of yall just be too much always mad at her for one reason or another.
I felt that Shin Min Ah and others were casted in this drama for ratings purposes. I don't see Kim Seon Ho acting…
Casting big names and pretty faces never directly translate into good ratings. The biggest stars have flop shows and bad reviews. Knetz are eating this show up thanks to its stellar cast, acting, visuals, storyline, and cinematography. sorry and sad to say for you :(
I don't think ep12 was as cute-sy as everyone is making it out to be... the first scene with the watermelon felt like a bittersweet dream almost with the pink colors and slow mos and the way it transitioned into a nightmare for dusik. the date in seoul was offset by the appearance of dusik's mysterious friend. even the kiss scene at the end felt more sad than anything else. not to mention how the subplot underlying the episode had oh yoon mourning his dead wife and yeongguk realizing why his marriage fell apart. This episode touched on the subject of dusik's jealousy, how he might've possibly felt inferior to hyejin and her success, and next episode seems like we'll get his backstory revealed + some angst. buckle up!
Has anyone else noticed that KSH has lost weight significantly from Ep 1 (more bulky/muscly) to Ep 11 (quite skinny…
nah, I thought he looked absolutely huge in ep10 in that white button up... I think it depends on the outfits because his shirts become more over-sized episode by episode haha (though i wouldnt mind another shirtless scene to confirm this lol)
I've watched a drama with the same vibes as this, namely "When Camellia Blooms" and I think camellia better than…
I like wtcb but all the characters became really annoying to me except for jungryeol tbh. homcha is better in terms of main and supporting characters, and also the mystery killer storyline in wtcb was just plain boring so im glad homcha didn't include anything like that
The epilogue where dusik was wishing for a long life with his grandfather, while at the same time his grandfather was already thinking about dusik's future without him there... i literally bawled something about that was so sad to me
If dusik really does reject hyejin in the next episode I hope he doesn't do it in a mean/outright way and more in a "I understand your feelings and I'm not ignoring them, but i have x problems to get through first before pursuing a relationship" so that she doesn't get the wrong idea and raise her guard up against him again :(
Everything that has Kim Seon Ho in it will be like this in the future. Eventhough the story of the drama was bang…
Dramas with star studded casts can be huge fails in terms of ratings if not done right. Yes Seonho and Minah definitely help with the hype but its far from the entire reason why this drama is succeeding.
