it really depends on why you watch it. if you only watch it because of kiss scenes etc and if you trash other series for not having (a lot) kisses then no. if you don't then it's okay

for me its not, the monsters are even quite laughable to me sometimes

can i point out that 1) there are kisses in this series (minato and tsuge) and 2) they did tackle issues the lgbtq+ community face, even if it's not that big (if that is what you mean by they haven't tackled any social issue within the community). for exemple after the king game, kurosawa says something like, 'you wouldn't want to do it with a man' and i believe in episode 2 (or that was only in the manga..) adachi says 'would this be easier if one of us was a woman?' and even though his answer to this is no, i feel like it still says something about how the community is treated.

and also (although I'm not sure about this) isn't fujisaki canonically aromatic? (judging by her inner monologue in episode 4). of course this monologue doesnt have to mean that she's aro, it might mean that she just doesn't want a relationship, but with her saying 'im used to pretending I'm normal anyway' i feel like this indicates she is. and her issue is that her mom wants her to be have a relationship.
