Ah, I guess that's fair, I don't know i'm kind of addicted to season 2 though, and season 3 isn't so bad so far. It feels kind of like a daily drama dropped condensed into a 3 season kdrama if that makes sense.

You missed the fact that she couldn't hit certain notes, she could sing just fine. Also, the main theme of the show will always remain throughout seasons, it's the story around it that changes.

I'm ngl, I just gave up on Sunbae Don't Put on that lipstick because I found the ML's action very creepy at first. I dropped it after episode 3, which is usually my golden rule episode if I choose to drop a drama or not.
I mean, I'm not complaining and I respect your opinion. But I just think some dramas don't always show their potential in episode 1. I mean, if you watch episode 2 and 3 and still hate it, fair.
Trust me, he's much better in the second episode once he's put on the spot.

In my personal opinion, the ML gets much better in episode 2 and the show starts to diverge itself from the norms a bit. I know I won't be able to convince you, so I won't even try, but I will say I think you're being a bit harsh for a single episode.
One thing I hope they keep from the original is the main Ost. The OST is so iconic for this series, it would honestly be too hard to remake it and do it justice.
