I mean, if people don't want to watch a series because it's has certain aspects, why not save people time?
I mean, negative comments are telling people to stop watching, that's a personal choice. But some people don't like certain things in dramas and they check comments to see if that's prevalant. Sure it's early on but I don't want to wait 8 hours worth of content to see a decent character change, most don't. Especially if it's a main character.
Okay so, I see some positive comments wondering why we find the ML Lead creepy, well let me explain
//spoilers
First off, the best way to test if something is creepy, put yourself in all the situations she was put in. - Follows her around like a lost puppy, possibly even to her company. (Not creepy but concerning) - Touches her lips without her consent. -Hides information about cheating for a month (regardless of the reasoning, he should've told her, the dude was getting married for christ's sake, he wasn't gonna cancel it.) -Stares at the 2nd ML (Like who does this, is he in high school? You can't call this subtle or professional at all.) - Manipulates her into riding into an unknown place. -Confesses to her in an enclosed space where he has complete control (Like the hell? You wouldn't find that uncomfortable?) - Forces her to watch her boyfriend cheat, then restricts her from acting so he can manipulate her into his plan. - His plan is to date her to get back at her boyfriend.
Seriously...? Some of you look at this and think oh yeah? That's totally not creepy and manipulative at all? He's totally innocent and cute?
I can see why they call this a noona romance to cause the ML is as mature as a highschooler. Like the dude seem to stop developing the second he fell for the FL. He lacks any personality traits from 2 entire episodes out of liking her and that's concerning.
If you're going to defend the actor, fine, he did a good job with the character. But the character itself is horrible, stop defending all these actions.
I'm dumbfounded by the way a lot of you think that a romantic relationship in a drama has to be all about love…
I don't think people care about the love at first sight, the way he approaches her and goes about confessing is just kind of creepy. It's very clear she's out of her comfort zone. Like I don't think anyone would want a man touching their lips without their consent. He also went around showing that he was cheating in the most dramatic and probably hurtful way possible.
Also, it's a discussion place, if people want to leave comments giving their opinion allow them, just as you give your positive opinion.
Throw it away. The actors are fine, the ost is great. Throw literally every else about this drama away.
Does the ML even have a personality trait outside of liking her? Does he have any hobbies, friends, etc? Does his life literally only revolve around liking her and being a lonely rich guy? He's literally just so creepy and his character feels empty.
Cause it's a Kdrama we know she'll go with his plan at the end and I already hate both leads for it.
Also, why would you make the 2nd ML one of the only characters I actually feel bad for in this situation, outside the female lead, but the point above still stands.
God, I'm probably dropping this drama if the next episode meets my expectations, which is zero.
He’s not really hiding it - he’s trying to be respectful of her relationship - I guess he was hoping she’d…
Uh.... Are you sure you read any of the situations correctly? First off, if she yells at him for telling her, she's not worth it in the first place. The fact is, if she's the type of girl to do that, drop her before it gets worse.
Second, I don't know what kind of attraction you're seeing from her to him but so far it's non-present.
Okay so, I was kinda hyped for this drama but.... Okay, I'll just say it.

The Male Lead is already frustrating me with this drama. Not only was the final scene quite creepy (not the flashback, the lipstick) Like you don't touch someone like that drama or not, especially if they have a boyfriend...
but also he hides quite important information for over a month, and for what exactly? Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but it's kind of frustrating.
I mean... just because a person's suffering doesn't mean they deserve someone. It's not down to who's suffering…
I kind of agree with the second part, but there's an issue with the first part of that statement. Most people believe having both can work but it generally becomes more of an issue, plus if he breaks up with her, he's basically losing all of his supports systems.
Both of them are characters with deep insecurities and personal issues. Honestly a relationship between them in a real situation would become very toxic, very quickly. If this drama wanted a realistic ending, honestly none of them should end up with anyone.... but it's a kdrama so y'know.
Idk why people are ignoring Suho's suffering. Like isn't he a human? I saw so many people wanting SeoJun to be…
I mean... just because a person's suffering doesn't mean they deserve someone. It's not down to who's suffering more, it's about who would actually be better in a relationship. What Suho needs is a friend to lean on, not a girlfriend.
To be fair to Sunny, if you knew everything she did, their would be no reason to forgive him. He needed to change to be forgiven and that's just a fact.
The fact she even forgave him at the end means a lot to her development and it was sad it was too late but ultimately it was his change that brought her too him, as stated earlier. He needed to change his way of thinking, not her, she tried to understand him but it's hard to understand someone who knows about so many dark secrets, has power, but doesn't say anything at all.
Especially if it's a main character.
Since your defending this, let me ask, would you be comfortable with everything the ML did?
