Yeah ML killed himself. FM lead didnt know because she saw the snake in the boat with him so she assumed. Also yes ML killed FM lead's mother as a child but he was deceived by Anong and thought it was the snake that was inside.

It's the grade they're in. 3/1 like 15 years old 1 stands for the class they're in, so the best class. It can go until 14. They have to test for the first 3 classes. 4/1 is a year later.
