If you are referring to Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice but to Kiss, I've been following it since ep 1, but I am not feeling it. I generally enjoy Japanese BL, but I thought this was boring. But it's interesting enough to keep me from dropping it, so I hope I'll like the upcoming episodes.
I agree with the majority that EP 6 is a bit a disappointing episode but still this does not make the whole series…
Agreed. Most of the BLs on air are boring me to death, not just the BLs coming out of Thailand. But I adore this uni BL - cringey product placement, cliché plot devices and all. It's simple and formulaic, but it works.
On a different note, can I recommend Triage? Aside from KP and Star in My Mind, it's the only BL I look forward to. I checked it out for TaeTee, but I don't even care about the ship atm; I can't wait to see the plot unfold!
"I don't see how they're gonna get around... well, pretty much anything in the original work..."Since you're on…
I think it's safe to assume that we'll be getting content with the umbrella. They could brush it off as "devout student taking care of his beloved teacher" lol.
Tbh, I was shocked to see the wedding included! I wasn't expecting that at all. If they manage to include that, hopefully they'll find a way to include the brocade bag too. I saw them cleverly include the dragon blood necklace by changing it to a bracelet, so I guess we could still be hopeful. Maybe they could also weasel in plenty of innuendos like WoH did.
I'm not sure if this is credible or not, but I saw a HYX spoiler account claim that there were two weddings in the drama? I think I can comprehend the one in Butterfly Town passing censorship, but how would the 0.5 wedding pass censorship ahahahahaha
Yes please. I'd love it if they include these iconic lines. I saw someone on twitter reason that they could get away with the "I really like you too" part if it was done through Shi Mei's actress, and I desperately hope that they don't let this opportunity slip.
I almost forgot, but I am very curious to see how they'd explain CWN opening the Ever Yearning box! We know MR has Jiangui, so they'll have to come up with a heterosexual explanation for that.
"I don't see how they're gonna get around... well, pretty much anything in the original work..."Since you're on…
Okay but CFY looks GORGEOUS in pink. But yeah, it does look like they've added new content. While I do understand that they need to make some alterations to get past censorship, I hope that they don't change too much. I have faith in the adaptation since they poured a lot of money into it, and since the book is a cult favourite, I don't think they'd risk backlash from the fans.
3,799 steps...we are gonna get hurt all over again, but I am so glad that they included this scene. I don't have much hope for it, but I am hoping that we get to see the farm arc too. They don't really need to do much, just add the farm arc and WE'LL KNOW what it means ♡o(╥﹏╥)o ♥♡

Oh my god thank you so much for this!! I've been lurking around 2HA/HYX twitter for a while, but I've never seen some of these photos before (especially the ones involving the Butterfly Town wedding).
Btw do we know who the tiny kid is? By kid I mean the infant, not Xia Sini. I keep seeing the kid in a lot of leaks. I don't know if I am forgetting something, but I can't seem to recall who that is.
I've rewatched the episode several times, and came up with a theory at an attempt to understand what went on.…
I too believe that the woman with the baby is Shi De's step sister.
The hospital bills read "Troy A Cornelius" and I am guessing that it's Shi De's step father. Maybe he passed away, and Shi De stayed back to help that girl and his mom? (I am not 100% sure about the death; I am no doctor and I have no idea what those pills on the bill are used for)
It's hard to figure out where the Shu Yi/ Shi De encounter happened. I first thought it happened in the US and Shu Yi wanted to surprise Shi De (he was carrying a bag). BUT when Shu Yi returns home (Taiwan) he's wearing the same clothes, so I am not so sure.
What I can't comprehend is the timeline. The calendar and the hospital bills say 2020, which is when Shi De sends the first email. And towards the very end of the episode, his texts read 2022. So the Shu Yi/ Shi De encounter must've happened somewhere in between.
Soon after Shu Yi sees Shi De with the girl, he gets a text, and his lock screen reads "Saturday July 24th" (I used Google image translate for this, so it may not be 100% credible)
July 24th is a Saturday in 2021 (and not 2020 or 2022), so it's highly likely that the encounter happened in 2021, which is when Shu Yi stopped replying. And later on, he stops reading texts. This is what Shi De addresses in his texts from 2022.
So I am guessing that Shi De leaves to Taiwan in 2022.
BUT why does Shi De say he didn't get a reply for the first mail??! That happened in 2020, why wouldn't they correspond for 2 whole years as opposed to one?
* The calender in Shi De's room has something written on it so maybe it can provide some clues.
I've rewatched the episode several times, and came up with a theory at an attempt to understand what went on. I am grasping at straws at this point, but here goes...
I thought the girl wearing the green sneakers (the one who speaks in English) was the one who took the photo.…
Oh I thought they didn't reveal her identity till the very end to keep us guessing what their motives were. Since the incident with Insoo and Hyung Ki's plan wasn't revealed till the latter episodes, revealing her identity before that would've taken some of the anticipation and mystery away. Plus it's not like her appearance was sudden - with the shots of the green sneakers and the flashes, she was very much present since the beginning, we just didn't know what her face looked like.
Compared to the other Korean BLs, I thought the pacing in this one was much, much better, and I thought they utilised the short time very well. As for falling in love, I didn't feel that it was abrupt - KSJ has been dropping hints since ep 4, and although HJW has his walls up, you could tell he cared for SJ from the little things he did since ep 5/6 (putting up that space picture, shielding SJ from that mutilated poster, buying ingredients for risotto, getting jealous and ofc the bright smiles that happen every now and then). Plus I am so glad that they gave us a confession and a kiss earlier than usual, instead of reserving it for the very end.
Looks like the two of us have very different ideas about the series haha, but I'd also love it if a longer movie would be released.
I thought the girl wearing the green sneakers (the one who speaks in English) was the one who took the photo.…
Sorryyyyy I think I confused you. The entirety of my last reply was about the English speaking reporter. My bad, I should've worded it better. By very last bit, what I mean was that "I can speak in English too" argument. I was wondering why the English speaking reporter was mad at Hyung Ki and asked him to stay away from the couple, when she was the one who was stalking them and snapping photos in the first place.
Ahaha I actually like Yoon Seul. She's nice, plus she helped KSJ, so I have a positive impression about her. But now that you mention it, I wanna know how YS got to know about the chocolate milk! And I guess this means PilHyun broke up with the girl from WYEL?
I thought the girl wearing the green sneakers (the one who speaks in English) was the one who took the photo.…
Ooh yes, this I got. The very last bit is what confused me - the part where the reporter visits the restaurant and argues with Hyung Ki.
At first I wondered why she was getting worked up, when she's the one who took the photos and and caused trouble in the first place. Plus she's a reporter, so I thought she was gonna expose the photo at some point. And why would she give her photos to Hyung Ki?
But I guess Hyung Ki forcibly took the photos from her, and maybe she didn't want to stir up trouble between KSJ and HJW.
Don't mind me. I am just overanalyzing things haha.
Those cheeky filmmakers! Having seen the trailers, they made it look like my dears were going to breakup (=Ji…
I thought the girl wearing the green sneakers (the one who speaks in English) was the one who took the photo. But you're right. There's a bit of disconnect between what really happened between her and Hyung Ki (especially that last scene with the two of them), so some clarity would be nice!
I loved the Fiat/Leo storyline and I'm kinda sad we didn't get more of them as an actual couple. So I desperately…
Fiat and Leo are the only reason I kept watching the trainwreck that was TTS2. Ngl, I constantly got exasperated because the two of them kept running in circles, but I am gonna chalk it up to poor writing. Hopefully they'd get a better storyline (and a better screenwriter) in Close Friend. I love their chemistry, and they deserve much better than FiatLeo. Since they are 6 couples and 6 episodes, I am guessing that one couple will be prioritised in every episode. Someone on MDL pointed out that all the cast members in Close Friend have the main character designation, so it does seem likely.
My BL-induced-anxiety is at an all time high.

Had I not known that there was an extra scene, I would've been devastated.
