I’m just going to compile a couple of your worst lines/points:
- Yes, Yongjie did rape his step brother. Thats a fact. Irl, he would be in jail. But BL isnt real life. [this is a work of fiction, but it’s not a fantasy. do you see any dragons or unicorns?]
-Yongjie also turns out to be very cute and charming, in his cold psycho way, as a character. [now i get where the “romanticizing criminals” ideology roots from. there is not one single redeeming quality to this character, and he committed multiple crimes. would you want anyone to undergo the hell that he put Xing Si through?]
- But stop trying to force everything to be perfectly healthy, PC drivel. [...]

I want to end by mentioning that there are young, impressionable people watching this who might think this is really okay and maybe even allow themselves to be treated this way, or better yet do that to someone else themselves. Entertainment holds a role on how we view things and how we deal with situations. These serious issues shouldn’t be overlooked just because the actors tick all your eye-candy traits boxes.
