The CGI of this drama is on a whole new level. Loveeee the fighting scenes. Am always a fan of ancient Chinese drama with good action/war scenes like Three Kingdoms and Ever Night. Am soo looking forward to the part where SJ change. TH is making me want to slap her, she is always touching the ML 🙄

Try thinking in her shoes, the devil lord killed her whole family. She was sent down to kill him but she did not do so and decided to shower him with love etc so he can change. Besides she knew that there is an evil bone in the ML, of course she has to constantly think twice before doing somethg. It can be alil frustrating to watch but at least it's realistic. Shows the dilemma that she is going through. Am glad it's not a story whereby the FL saw his past, pity him and fall in love, disregarding that her whole fam got killed. Nevertheless whether it's the past...before he actually commit the sin, knowing someone will kill your fam in the future, how to actually ignore that?

I love Bai Lu too and am a fan of Leo luo after watching love is sweet. I tried to wait too but yeah I failed to wait 😂 and here I am getting impatient for more episodes to be released.

Am so glad that Bai Lu and Leo Luo's interest to work with each other again after Love is Sweet came true and it's this drama. They picked it well and am glad the director/producer/writer chose to offer the roles to them. I don't understand the bull crap about how they have "no chemistry". Their acting is superb and they carried the show well with the storyline, I can't see any other actor or actress playing the character that they are playing. Their chemistry is over the top. No awkwardness whatsoever. I saw some antis saying bailu has no chemistry with any of the actors she worked with, another bull crap. Most probably someone who never even watch any of her drama properly. Her acting and versatility beats many of those overrated actress out there. Anyway I hope this drama continue to soar for the best. Watched 3 episodes and am addicted. Cant wait for all episodes to be released! 🧡

Please please cast Bai Lu for ' The rebirth of the malicious empress of military lineage' novel adaptation!She will so pull it off! Have been wanting for her to take on such role. She is a very versatile actress! That novel is soo good and I'm sure it will help to bring her up more! Fingers crossed! Hoping for her to get the FL role!

Currently reading this novel and am just loving it. The whole time I'm picturing Bai Lu as Shen Miao while Arthur Chen Feiyu as Xie Jing Xing. I think Luo Jin/ Wang yibo will fit well as XJX too. Another actress that I can see portraying Shen Miao is Zhao Liying, Shen Miao is quite similar to the role of Ming Lan of 'the story of minglan'. However I'm hoping that the FL will be Bailu, I can already picture her pulling off this role well! Just watch one and only + song of youth and you can understand why im saying this. 100% wanting BL as the FL!! Director, writer & producer please cast Bai Lu as the FL! She is one of those actress that can pull off any character, a versatile actress! An actress that doesn't take on roles that are always so similar! This novel is just too good. Please don't ruin the novel by simply casting!

Finally watched the last episode yesterday. Cried when shiyi received news bout her master's death , the part where she knew how he died..her expression shows questions, disbelief and hurt. Woah her acting there is just mind blowing! Overall loved this drama. Can't wait to watch part 2! The rating here can't be trusted! Great cast! Great acting! Great cinematography! A drama well done!

I think all this while she has always had this great potential in her, it's just that so far all of her role are quite similar in their own way and thus she hasn't been able to really showcase her potential. This role of hers is really different from all of her previous works. I think this is her first role whereby she cried alot, like really alot. I hope that she will get more offers in the future, different ones whereby she can show people more sides and potential of hers as an actress.

I watch this drama because of Bai Lu. This is my first drama of Allen ren. His chemistry with Bai Lu on screen is good. Tbh his char is quite captivating to watch!

Ikr I feel like she did sooo good in portraying shiyi! So different from all of her previous role and yet she did it so well. My mum could not recognize her and asked me if she is the one who acted in jiuliu overlord, and I'm like ' ya，it's her!' haha. My mum only recognize her when she smiled, showing her teeth.
