Well, I... Hmmm... I can't find another way of saying that this drama was Cringe City. Hands down the most "unbearable to watch" drama I've ever seen. It took me a whole YYEEAAARRR to finish these 10 freaking episodes. Actually, I think I'm a big masochist for having watched all of them, I- (Shhh it's okay, inhale, exhale...) Phew, if you like to torture yourself like me then this is a MUST WATCH. That said, I'll go shower all the cringe and second-hand embarassement off myself, bye~ 😭
Like the comment before said, this drama was like a fever dream and I absolutely LOVED it ! It was so freaking random that I was excited the entire time wondering what kind of unexplainable thing would happen next lolol. Discovering LDH and its talents is one of the best things that happened in my life, I LOVVVEEE THESE GUYS ❤ Also shout-out to SABU because dang that was a whole roller-coaster ! 🤣
I thought this movie would be good just looking at the cast and I was Deng right (see what I did here ? No ? Ok.) !
Mark and Deng's acting were top notch like usual, the CGI and the world graphism were so freaking beautiful. This made me discover Wang Duo that I already like a lot and also shout out to Wang Zi Wen, I loved her crying and sad scenes. Her acting looks effortless.
Now focusing solely on the characters, the spirit guardians were chef's kiss, so badass, like I was literally screaming during their entrances and replayed their scenes so many times. Thinking about it I'm so freaking extra... Uh... Anyway, I REALLY recommend this movie 🤣😭
I started this drama for Mild and didn't expect too much from it but WOW this was one of the FUNNIEST dramas I've ever watched. Five episodes were just perfect for this type of short and sweet story. I LOVED Mild like I had already expected but Off was really REALLY good too (and DAAAANNNG this man is mighty FIIIIINNNNNEEEEE 🤤🙈). Duchess' friends in the drama were also HILARIOUS, they literally made me laugh until my stomach hurt ! 🤣 Hehe, anyway, I really recommend especially to the people who like comedy 😁
I really liked this drama but I have to say I started watching it with a bias since I LOVED the Taiwanese version (which is still one of my favorite dramas ever) so I was so excited every time I knew a major scene from the original was about to happen, hehe. 🥰
Aside from that, I appreciated the leads (good chemistry and acting) and support characters (HI-LA-RI-OUS) so much and was so happy to see Joyce Zhao/Jinzhi mama who played Yunxi (aka Yunyi in this version) in the Taiwanese drama here. I also love the addition of the Taichu character. It added an element of novelty to the story. Anyway, I recommend it but know my opinion is totally biased for this one ! 😂
PS : Jurat's smile makes me weak in the kneeeeeeees 🙃🤤😍
Outstanding acting performances from the main leads and the support characters. It's so fulfilling having finished this drama. I'm so happy I decided to watch it. Visually, it's one of the most beautiful Xianxia dramas I've ever seen. The realms are absolutely gorgeous ! Sigh, 10/10, it wasn't perfect but I rarely feel so good after completing a drama so I have to give it the highest score. Of course, I strongly recommend it... Eyes closed... While doing a backflip... And finishing with a split 🤣
PS : I really have to say that the Tianjun in this drama is the best Tianjun hands down I've ever seen in dramas happening in heavens. Having seen the Eternal love tianjun, the Ashes of Love tianjun, THIS ONE is IT. That's how a Tianjun is supposed to be. The other ones ? Let's say : it ain't chief... You gotta try harder. 🥲
Welp, this is the second time that I fall in love and empathize with a "bad" character played by Xue Hao Wen. This man really has the ability to portray "grey" characters : nor black nor white but right in the middle. The talent is through the roof, I'm suprised he doesn't have more main roles by now because the acting is excellent, so natural, he has good looks, nice voice, super fit body... like what else do you want, lol ? 😭
Definitely loved Qin Jun Jie as well. That is the first drama I've seen him in and I'm definitely interested to see more. Sun Yi really did her thing as well and I'm really curious to see how she performs in the more romantic dramas and such.
A little shout out to the Fatty and Qi Xia characters that I absolutely appreciated as well.
I freaking loved this drama. Wen Sheng and Leo Li were so good. I liked the humour as well as the plot. Welp, waiting for season 2 I hope, fingers crossed ! 🤞🏽
If I was supposed to hate him in Love and Destiny, well, that's a big BIG BIIIIIG fail. As a matter of fact, I think I fell in love instead, oops... 😭😂💀
I don't know how but Xie'er ended up being my favorite character. This drama was amazing in itself but every scenes with the scorpion king had me hooked. I absolutely loved Dai Kun's acting, his detailed facial expressions and how you could also guess his emotions just with his eyes, I'm freaking in love !
