Somebody give this man a main role ! He caught my attention in The Rise of Phoenixes but I think I reached the point of no return and completely fell in love with him in Eternal Love of Dream. I rarely fangirl and let me tell you THIS MAN RIGHT HERE... makes me unhealthily fangirl.
That was so goood ! I want a part 2 so bad, the actors were excellent and I loved the story. The OST was top notch a̶s̶ ̶w̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶T̶i̶a̶n̶ ̶C̶h̶i̶n̶g̶.̶
Haha this is a very old guy already but I'm glad he's still the best dynamic actor ever. I remember him forever…
Thanks so much for the recommendations ! And I thought about the same thing : it's such a shame that he's never truly the main lead. He's so talented he could play any type of character and make a drama become a real masterpiece ! Like you said, REALLY UNDERRATED.
This drama was so good I just finished binge watching it ! I'm glad I watched it since it made me discover Leo Wu, he's very talented. The only thing I didn't like was the romance part with Lieutenant Zhang. I found it honestly annoying and very cringy but it didn't make me drop the drama so it was okay. Overall, this drama was very entertaining and made me discover (also watch again) a lot of actors !
That was the most stifling drama I've ever watched but in a very fascinating way. I truly recommend it, the acting was mesmerising. The actors from the main leads to the support roles were exceptional. Just wow.
I searched him because of his role in The Rise of Phoenixes : while watching the drama, I thought "Woah, so handsome and charismatic !" then I realised he played Jin Guang Shan in The Untamed... Sir, I am shocked. The contrast between the two roles, I-
I discovered him in The Rise of Phoenixes and I really liked his acting ! I'm glad there were so many scenes with him, he captivated me from the very beginning.
Side note : there's no way he's not related to Xiao Zhan... Like BLOOD related. Xiao Zhan is just a younger version of Shi An... They're lost brothers, I don't care lmao
What the... He was one of my favorite Japanese actors from looooong ago and I was literally re-watching Last Cinderella and thought how mesmerizing his smile was. WHAT THE HELL ?! I can hardly believe this is true, oh my God... This is freaking depressing for a stranger like me so I can't even imagine how the people close to him are feeling right now.
OMG ! I agree with this so much because the Boyband Effect is exactly why I loved The Untamed but I'm personally not a difficult person so basically I'm that girl who watched The Untamed and literally got seduced by all the men in that drama ! Honestly, I wouldn't have been even remotely mad if some of them had a love interest. At least, I could've known what to do with myself instead of fangirling the whole 45 minutes of each episode !
I typically love dramas with a lot of male characters and if the story is good like The Untamed, there's absolutely no chance of me dropping them. That being said, I easily drop dramas if I think the story is boring so if The Untamed's plot was not that good, I think I would've never finished it.
Guys, I'll try reverse psychology. I wish The Wolf won't air this year. I wish The Wolf won't air this year. I wish th- I cant. I CANNOT ! I WANT IT NOW ! *wolf howl intensifies*
This was so weird to read because I felt like reading myself ! I have the exact same feelings for all those dramas. At some point I was like "Can we disagree on something ?" and yeah... it never happened lmao ! But I want to say I'm so happy to see somebody else sharing the same passion I have for this genre (I literally have "Yanki dramas", "best Yanki dramas" in my history search...) !
Just like the other comments said before, I just can't believe he's debuting. His acting is so good in The Sleuth Of Ming Dynasty that I thought I would've seen ten dramas on this list !

Anyway, I enjoyed reading this article ! ;-)
