I cannot explain how happy I am with this drama so far. The music got me hooked and I know we haven't even heard half of it yet. The direction the plot is the "getting the band back together" troupe and I like that. I hope it won't derail into over the top comedy. Also Thame is so Thame I love it. I'm also very excited to see the guest characters. We just got Joong but in the end credits I saw that Louis and Keen will show up somewhere and I can't wait to see it.
I'm shocked how good the first episode is. When Po was a little too honest in his interview and talked about his breakup with his partner. I thought "bro, you shouldn't give away all that info" only for people to say the exact same thing, but at different time of he episode made me thing we had something with this series. Also when Thame sang "Last Twilight" I jumped out of my seat. Now I gotta rewatch Last Twilight.
I'm kinda not feeling this series as much as I would have liked. I want more crime scenes that are a little more fleshed out and good. The romance is getting there but something is missing.
On gmmtv bl lineup I started watching Kidnap and almost every episode made me want to revisit Never Let Me Go because it does the drama, action and romance 10 times better. So I'm going to rewatch NLMG for the 3rd time.
I have put this series on hold for so long. Before this, I haven't watched any Pondphuwin series. Their series…
I think you need to watch other bl series that the actors in We Are were in. The plot for We Are is so similar to a lot of other bls, so for me I'm personally watched this series solely for the actors and how their chemistry was with one another and their ships. And for that I loved it.
My problem with most gmmtv series is that even the plot is ''action'' or ''suspense'' after 2-3 episodes the whole…
Yeah, I was hoping Kidnap would be a little more mature in gmmtv bl line up, but again I was disappointed. I'm still finishing up this series, but I'm not invested in it and it's definitely not something I'll ever try to rewatch. If you want something a little better than this series from gmmtv I think Never Let Me Go is a decent action and romance bl series. Not Me is still leagues better, but NLMG does so much better than kidnap. There is actual drama and death and you actually care for the characters. Kidnap made me appreciate NLMG so much more now.
So many things happened in this last episode. Kla was the all around amazing detective and his friends were great at helping him find who was messing with Cake. I liked seeing Af's internal monologue and struggle and the speed run redemption. Also when the event all blew over Af distancing himself from Cake and his friends was a smart choice. And that some of Cake's friends acknowledged that they weren't very open to him being their friend either. But why at the end did Tim start hitting on him . He was so much fun to watch right until that point. Gina's moments didn't make me feel sorry for her, but I do understand that money and blackmail makes you do crazy things. And her glow down made me laugh so much, while the "I became a bakery owner" had me so confused. Khing is straight up evil. I don't care that your dad is emotionally unavailable, you didn't communicate either that you wanted him to be a little more involved in your life Khing! And it drove me nuts that in the end everyone forgave each other AND that Khing's family just shipped her off abroad. Apparently shipping off horrible people and hoping they don't repeat their crimes in another country is not a concern to anyone. You have to build back the trust you lost whatever this was. And finally, what in the meta was the last couple of minutes. Was this all series with a series? Hearth was definitely channeling his Love Syndrome III character and I loved it!
Kla definitely knows that both Gina and Khing don't like the fact that he's dating Cake, but again I still wonder…
I think Kla was hoping that the people interfering with his relationship would stop once they saw how serious is was. I also think he wants to obtain all the evidence he needs as well as figure out a way punish these people.
As for the invitation, if I truly didn't want to go somewhere I would absolutely make up an excuse. Also if we are still in a Pandemic you should absolutely NOT go out and party no matter how "safe" you think it is.
She absolutely is. She’s the covert, manipulating, triangulating, emotionally coercing friend. She’s pulling…
You can slowly see on her face when the camera zoom in on her, that sad look changes ever so slighty by episode 3 and then episode 4 I knew oh girl in manipulative. The phone scene cemented it in for everyone. Gina's personality does a very good job at overshadowing Khing.
