THE FESTIVAL, THE RIVER SCENE, THE LOVE POURING OUT OF THEIR EYES, THE F*CKING BUNNY LANTERN FROM PRINCESS AGENTS, it was all perfect and I can die now 😭😭
Is it two episodes on Tuesday or just one? 😭 Also how does one find an airing calendar? Please drama gods, this show is my lifeblood, it sustains me. 💀
This pair is like literal crack to me, I am actually so excited 😫 I really hope the whole drama is the same vibe as these posters we've been getting because they are FLAWLESS, absolutely aesthetic af. 🤌🏻
I'm only like half way through, but idk why the comments are so negative lately, I think this is a good show. 😭 I think the leads' chemistry is good, and the tension and heartache were very palpable! And I get maybe SSK perhaps isn't the BEST actor but I think she does a good job of playing straight, smart, no nonsense characters in historicals. (I liked her in Rookie Historian.) As for everyone complaining about her not being a convincing man... Like, sorry, obvious women in drag have always been a fact of dramaland - it's not supposed to be taken so literally.
My main criticism is that there was not enough buildup to the ML's abrupt change of character. If it was gradual I would get it but it was like... within a few hours... Like I get you're traumatised but... There also wasn't really enough justification for the FLs actions returning to the palace, especially when she clearly knows his merits as a person and knew he'd just undergone a traumatic event.
Anyway all in all still a good show. Will watch to the end. 💪🏻
Nothing says romance like dismantling generations-old class systems together ❤️
But I'm sorry, the ~KING~ getting so angry that his officials are not appointed through a meritocratic system is VERY FUNNY 😂 Like BITCH DO YOU REALISE HOW YOU GOT YOUR JOB???

Honestly 10/10 please save me from the Mongol invaders. 🥺

Why are the gods of war always the purest little babies??
