I have a strong feeling that they will soften it up considerably because they know it will be taken off otherwise. Also it’s only 10 episodes so they will cut large chunks out. I think much of it will still be implied, but they must be loving the publicity. without that it might bomb from day 1. That’s why they picked a 16 year old so they could do a soft version but "milk" the fame of the 2 previous versions. Someone said the 1st uncut episode had a cheek kiss! We will have to see how it all pans out I guess.

Agreed I like all types of BLs including fluffy ones. But if they want to make a true version of Addicted Heroin the the cast need to be adults and it should be 18 plus only. Most mature adults can recognise this is a fantasy novel and no one in the real world would condone true non con.

For people upset re the casts age it was probably a move to create publicity. I’m guessing full consent was given by all parties was given or else there would be a lawsuit. Everyone was talking about it and will continue to do so, so either it will do brilliantly well or be taken off air. Agree it would have been better with adults playing the roles although in many countries young people have sex before the age of consent in fact I think it’s common in a lot of countries. As for non con, I think they have a cut and uncut version so you can make a choice. I think if you remove all the controversial stuff it’s not really the story of Addicted Heroin and would become a fluffy school based BL. Just my own observations and I respect those of others before someone has a go at me.

I have read that Sammon has said this will be sad. Does anyone else know anything about this?

I have to say the scene were they make love rather than have sex was beautifully done. I loved the sheen of sweat which addded to the authenticity. I also liked the way their intimacy was portrayed after. The relationship felt very real.

The pace is ridiculous at their age unless Japanese romance is really that slow. Finding it a bit unrealistic

Fantastic series with great acting and real kissing yay. It did feel as if it was cut short maybe because of Covid. Such a shame as I would have loved a lot more. It’s a 10 from me x

I loved it. The only downside was the amount of cutting. Cutting out crucial scenes like how the brothers finally got together is crazy. Prab/Folk really stood out for me. His acting and obviously that he is gorgeous. Excited for season 2.

What a great show apart from 2 things. The very rushed and choppy last few episodes and why oh why did the director cut out all the good bits like the intimate kissing scenes. So annoying. Great acting though and I loved all the characters. A season 2 would be great focusing on sea and tin.
