I love the story line up until now.. (I am currently on Ep. 10)
Although I cannot help to shed a tear whether both of the ML and FL had that touching moment. Not because the scene was heartbreaking, but simply because there are chance that this drama will end up sad ending because of Jin Xiaoyu's rare disease and will only allow her to life for 1 year. This feeling I also grasp it from how Jiang Baiju stare to Xiaoyu.
So melancholic like he always afraid of the feeling of losing her if the time's up.
Love the story line, love the act and also the line up of the handsome guys as supporting roles.. oulala... so mesmerizing :))

If you are refuse to read the novel, then how could you put a fair judgment about the drama then?
Because this is the life action drama that was taken and adapted from the novel. And in the novel there is not so much explaination either about ZZ. Because basically the central point is reg the meeting of those two and how then the meeting effected their intire life and fate afterward. This novel is about how ZZ completely done with himself and his past, and move forward. By saying this, in my opinion ZZ already mature and know enough and have enough of life. That’s why he is more interesting to find out reg WKX.
If you want to know the background of ZZ go read LORD SEVENTH. Which I also hoping this one will get adapt into a life action.

Exactly! Because the story line are indeed about the meeting about these two. And how the story then developed on how the meeting effect and change those two and how it turns out that they are indeed soulmate.
If you anted to know more about ZZ then go read the Lord Seventh novel. This part is basically indeed the part when ZZ has done his past and move forward of course it would be much more of his curiousity reg who is WKX really are.

If you read the novel, the storylines is exactly the same. The focus is with ZZ then switch to WKX. Even Priest provide a special extra chapter from WKX POV.
although the scene and the story not really following the original story line (there are many of the scene switched or even different completely) but I am quite happy with the life action for now.
WKX ‘died’ scene definitely not in the novel. But there is “WKX almost died” scene in the novel.
So generally speaking am quite happy with the life action so far.
One of the characters that I have been waiting for is Lord Seventh and The Great Shaman. So I am so happy that I finally can see them in the couple of the latest eps. While quietly hoping there will be live action for Lord seventh story ??
