The first episode was pretty draggy and empty. Fewer flashbacks and more scenes with side characters would have…
I already lost interest in this drama but I'll still give episode 2 a chance to change my mind. As you said the 1st episode felt really draggy and there were scenes that fell unnecessary that I had to fast forward couple of times.
Kind? Beating up someone in the bathroom with the pretext that the person stole your shoes and not even having…
I am not saying that I want Hyein to be innocent, soft, kind, etc. Based on the title of the drama she is basically a bitch and BJN is the rich (but also a bitch) -- Poor bitch x rich bitch ๐. These two leads are what they are supposed to be for this drama and I completely satisfied with it. I do dislike both the FL but that doesn't mean I want them to become a good saint. You could dislike a character but still like them as part of the story.
But, your response seemed like you loved the Female leads, so you had to justify their actions to like them. You can still like them even though you don't love their character.
The FL (18th life) having crush on ML (child) is really weird. She is technically really old based on her memories/experiences and also if you still negate that she is still older by around give or take 4 years.
The ML (in highschool) did not even look like he was a teen. Looked straight up in his late 20's but with makeup.
The FL (19th life grown up) doesn't even look like she is in her early 20's (Looks way older).
Also, this is her 19th life and that guy (ML) is the only person she ever fell in love? Totally hard to believe. It would have been more believable if we see her past lovers in different lives and then saw how he was different and special than rest.
This would have been more fun and interesting if during her 1st life FL loved a boy and in her 19th life she found him again but this time her first love was a girl and not a boy.
this show is not moving at all, 30 minutes an episode is criminal barely anything is progressing i have no clue…
4 episodes equals to more or less 2 hours. Normal movies are of on average 1hr 40 mins. So I think you can easily wrap up the story in 4 episodes if you don't have fillers.
Im actually not sure why yall feel so dislike/hatred towards KHY, just because she's always being clumsy, furious…
Kind? Beating up someone in the bathroom with the pretext that the person stole your shoes and not even having slight guilt and apologizing about it later after realizing she did not steal those shoes. Using the guy to act as his boyfriend in return to telling him who's the murderer when she doesn't even know it. Why would she abandon her old friend when she doesn't have any other friends beside her?
Was really good until episode 6. Ep 7 and 8 felt quiet different from rest of the episodes. The last two episodes were not bad but I don't know what to say, just felt bit different. It felt like I was watching a different drama.
i have no knowledge with law but it feels like that court scene was a little messy and in real life it wouldn't…
Yeah, the only disappointing thing of the finale was the court case. I don't think the proof was enough to arrest the bad guys. But, this happens because throughout the drama the villains had only few roles and nothing major happened.
Also, the singer character was not needed tbh. Was just there for filler and did not served any purpose for the plot.
I agree..that part alone was good in the ending. but after all the build up, the husband especially got off too…
"misery she put fl through"? What about Doctor cha getting knocked up by someone else boyfriend in a one night stand and getting married when there was no love at all (just infatuation). Just how Dr. Cha decided to not get abortion, The mistress also decided to not go through abortion.
I've been reading peoples review and it's quite understandable that people really didn't like the ending, but…
Are you sure you watched the last episodes without skipping any scenes. In Ho meets his daughter (from Sung Hee) and the daughter tells him to not give up on getting back with Sung Hee after the daughter knew his father is now divorced. After that we see that In Ho frequently helps Sung Hee with voluntary surgeries for her new hospital. And it is subtly hinted that that they got close again. So most likely they would get back together which although not shown, it's mostly where the relationship is moving towards.
I don't think it's rape because 1. firstly, it was mentioned that the mother saw the physical assault but did not do anything. So, it would be absurd that the mother saw the brother having forceful sex with the sister and she just walked away. It would be totally wild. 2. Ko Mi Sook said that her mother was assaulted by the father and seeing the same thing happening between Ko Mi Sook and the Brother she still ignored it and that made her feel invisible. So because of the comparison we can say that its not sexual. 3. If it was sexual then it would have been explicitly mentioned as raping you own sister is to extreme and the drama wont mention such extreme issue in a subtle way.
All characters in the last episode were like," listen up people, this is the final episode so lets forgive each other and just move on with our own life."
Interesting. So you think she would be the same if her husband wasn't murdered and she didn't have to fend for…
@kio when he was paralyzed you can see that the food was taken away because he was not able to use his hand to eat the food. He was not able to have a single bite as well.
Yes I do agree taking revenge was not the path the mother had on her mind but her selfish decision after decision resulted in her own child's suffering. If she had allowed her son to be happy and to be an artist which he wanted this would not had happened.
I said she is the main villain but did not say the only villain or real villain. And the reason being that is because she is the main character of this drama even more than the ml and fl consuming more of the screen time. There are 3 main villains here and the mother is one of them.
Lastly, if you justify the wrong method used to achieve good things then most villains (not all but most) would be considered good in your book. Because in the end nobody (even villains) wants to suffer with poverty, sufferings and want to hold power to maintain it. But how you achieve this differentiates a good and a bad person.
The girl humiliating the teacher for her english pronunciation while she herself could not pronounce words clearly. This just baffles me tbh.
And it is just me but throughout my school days I never knew how rich or poor my classmates parents were nor knew what they do for work. Never bothered knowing such things. And also applying for scholarship to study abroad for free is looked down upon? Its the storyline just some fantasy of the writer or such things happens in real life as well?
ur ability to comprehend things baffles me.. how can someone have such a low capacity
Hope you are happy to have such parents who drowns you in the river, does not give you enough food or infact no food in some circumstances, always makes you study, tries to marry you off with some random girl/boy without your consent and decide your whole future without your say on it.
If you're not asian and lived in 1980s then you wont understand. Good thing young Kang Ho understood why her mom…
The main lead is in his late 20s to early 30s so he is possible born in the early 90s. And I am asian and was born in 92. So he and I are most likely around the same age.
