I kinda agree with you (especially the 2nd paragraph). But, I think its a combination of a responsibility of taking care of her family (without her they would have starved), not having to leave the place she calls home, uncertainty with ML, and love not strong enough (at least not yet). I think Gil Chae still have not fallen head over heels for ML but it will probably happen in the episodes to come.

My understanding is quiet different regarding Gil Chae. She loves him but not enough to leave everything and everyone she loves (family) behind. The ml is the one who loves her dearly but Gil Chae only started loving him because he showed how much he loved her. Moreover, Gil Chae does not trust the ml. There is always in the back of her mind that he can disappear without her knowledge only to reappear again.

Menopause is a natural thing so there should not be any shame in sharing or asking about it. People should be more open about it.

I never shamed anyone regarding menopause. Because her character is always loud and on the edge whether is happy, worried or angry which is one of a side effect of menopause.

I am liking the drama but the plot is so obvious (eg: the telephone ring at the ep 6 end is not even surprising at all) and I find most of the scene (eg: the son trying to protect but coming out as gay type of thing) are just there to stretch the drama because nothing important happening if you remove those scene.

That's normal because you just watched s1 recently and are really invested in the cast so the different cast in s2 will put you off. It would have been the same if s2 cast were in s1 instead and vice versa.

No hate but LJG would not be able to pull it off in season 1 because he looks pretty old to play young Eun Seom / Sa Ya.

For me SSK fits perfectly and glad she is doing it as the previous girl did not have the fierce look to pull it off.

Also, for native people speaking both korean and mongolian , I guess it is weird for the fact that the fl can speak better korean than mongolian when it should have been the opposite.
