I don't know if you have read the original manga yet, but in my opinion, the ladies here actually get more respect…
It's Shounen. This is where it's originally targeted for male teenagers. So it's understandable. And it's focus is solely about the battle of becoming the best in the Go Pro world. And during that time it was mainly played by males instead.
This drama was so depressing because it was so realistic. The plotting and schemes against each other in the harem was so sad to watch and know. The ML starts out very young with the FL as childhood sweethearts. If you want a happy loving ending, this isnt the drama for you. This drama is about the FL slowly looses her trust and love in the Man she had planned to follow for the rest of her life. The unfaithfulness, schemes, lust, pride from the person she had once loved exhuasted her so much in the end.
I love her Character. She wasn't weak, she just didn't want to respond to tye bullying and scheming. All she wanted was to keep him company as he kept loving her by his side...
In the end, this drama didn't leave me with heavy withdrawals, because she was finally free from it all. I was satisfied.
Probably my number drama of all time. It has everything I needed and want. Literally starting from ep 20 or so, I cried the whole way till the end lol and that's 60 eps. Lol the feels for this drama is on another level. The music is everything. Everytime Yang Zi's solo Love frost comes on, I teard up.
I fell hard for Deng Lun in this one. His unconditional love for her was so heartfelt.
Rewatch it twice, despite the fact it's so long, it's that worth rewatching.

All in all, this drama had potential, but it drag and how they executed it wasn't worth my watch.
