Yes, indeed it's very rare Growing Block Universe/Block Universe theory being used in a sci-fi drama/film. So, it will confused people who watch this drama especially whose don't familiar with physics. It's different when drama/film use string theory/alternate universe let's say, because it's more common things. But nonetheless, it's one of the best sci-fi drama in my opinion. I hope there will be the season 2.

I read your analysis especially on the last episode, you made a very good point, pointing about the faction. I hope the drama has season 2. I really want to look the continuity of the plot story.

My first guess is Block Universe theory too. But when Saebyok ask Saeha about going to the future, and the he replied that he can't going to the future, that time I opted more in the Growing Block Universe theory. But really, this drama is THAT GOOD. Thanks for sharing your view too :)

My suggestion to the people who are here is to consider watching this or not:
If you are into Science Fiction or have knowledge in Science, especially in Physics/Theory of Universe and spacetime, you could give it a watch. It is definitely an intriguing drama. As a Sci-fi film fan who has basic knowledge of science, this is one of the best (if not the best) Sci-fi dramas that I've watched.
If you are not the people that I describe above, you could give it try or don't at all. If you want to try watching this drama, my advice is don't expect anything in the beginning and don't think too much, just enjoy it.
