I really get weirded out and creeped out by the huge age gaps with men being older as I don't see them as romance but old ajusshi seeking young girls. Since it happens irl (happened to me me and many other) I just don't want to watch this kind of romance I don't feel any kind of good emotion or sincerity in it just ew. On the other hand women being older I can watch not more than 12 yrs tho (search www is an exception) maybe because I never saw in person so I don't link it to bad feelings if the plot is good enough

Ahh the comments. if YOU feel comfortable with it doesn't mean that other people have to. I like normal couples with no big age gaps, it just gives me bad vibes as the couples seem unbalanced. As for the eye candy ofc some actors 36 to 39 can be handsome too, but I wouldn't really call them eye candy , especially when paired with stunning idol like women who are much younger. I respect your opinion But I feel really uncomfortable with age gaps more than 6 years, honestly I feel like most of these typical dramas have very inflated ratings. This year has been mainly focused on old men and no eye candy, which honestly I like to watch young handsome actors instead of the opposite . I didn't avoid them till now the show itself have a lot of flaws that even a somewhat good plot can't save it. I think the right word for it is burn out? I am tired I need some fresh dramas. this year has been the worst to me I have been skipping so many dramas and it doesn't help that on this site people don't give ratings based on how good or bad a drama is but to how it fits into their standards (does that make sense?)
