A wholesome-hilarious Rom-Com
I stumbled across this show by accident when I was looking for a new BL to obsess over and- let me just say, I was not disappointed. When writing this review, 4 episodes (edit: now 7) have been released so far. But those 90 minutes of the show have already got me hooked like few other shows were able to.
The characters are absolute fluffballs. You know that feeling when you would give your whole world to them just by looking at them? Yeah, that's what I feel for Adachi and Kurosawa. The actor does such a good job at portraying this innocent yet realistic clumsiness of Adachi, while Kurosawa is just warmth and softness in person. Their chemistry is off the charts. If you need a fluffy BL couple (that cares for consent!!!!) this is perfect for you.
Not only does it feel like you were dumped into cotton candy while watching this, but you'll also wish someone would love you like Kurosawa loves Adachi. The way he cares for him is just so heart-warming. I promise you, you'll fall for both of them.
The supernatural aspect is well fit and none of the characters feels unrealistic AT ALL. They lightly tackle the stigma around two men kissing which just rounds off the whole deal. To top all this, the show is hilarious. I swear, I laugh every 5 seconds, either because of Adachi's adorable awkwardness or because of their wonderfully executed acting in relatable situations.
I can only recommend this drama to any rom-com lovers.
You won't regret it.
STORY
The story revolves around Adachi, a 30-year old virgin that suddenly, on his birthday, gains the ability to read the minds of people through touch. Unexpectedly, his fellow colleague Kurosawa seems to have a crush on him. And thus begins a wonderful little office romance.
The story is based on a manga by the same title. I honestly couldn't imagine a better made or more adequately executed adaption of the story. Of course, changes were made but they all fit perfectly into the concept and medium. And those changes are small at most. I must commend the writers. In comparison to the original manga, we don't get a view into Kurosawa's thoughts except what Adachi hears through his ability. This makes everything seem more down to earth and I really like the decision. The plot is well put together and just addicting to put it simply.
ACTING
My guys, listen, the acting in this is just grandiose. And not just the main cast, every single role is well cast and executed on an astonishing level. It's just so so much fun to watch each character unfold and it is so easy to fall in love with them. It's hilarious, convincing and realistic. If not for anything else, watch this for the acting.
OST
I'm editing this section in. Earlier I didn't have much to say about the OST because except Opening and Outro there isn't much happening musically but after a few weeks the Soundtrack really grew on me. The Opening Song [Omoinotake - Ubugoe] is such a catchy song I can't even think about skipping the intro because you'll catch me jamming to it. Furthermore, you should take a look at the lyrics of this song. It reflects Adachi's feelings and thoughts in the course of falling in love with Kurosawa. Especially after episode 5, I can truly see the connection.
The Outro Song [Deep Squad - Good Love Your Love] is also really enjoyable. I think they did a great job of choosing these songs for the drama.
REWATCH VALUE
Let me tell you, this show isn't even completed but I'm already on my 20th rewatch of those few released episodes. I don't know, maybe it's just the lack of affection and warmth in my life but the chemistry in this is addicting. This is my newest comfort drama. I can't stop thinking about them, I can't stop watching them.
Yeah, just give it a try. I promise you'll love it.

Pure Fluff
StoryIf I had to describe this drama in a few words, I'd say it is a drama that is more on the cliché side but executes it so well, that even the more predictable things are just a joy to watch. I think most people would agree that what carries this story and journey is the impeccable chemistry of the Main Couple. Just for that, I think this show is worth a watch.
But further, than the absolute fluff and wholesomeness, what really made this drama memorable is that you don't hate any characters. Sure, at times there are the villains that of course you dislike but as far as I am concerned, every one of the key roles gets their redemption.
What I truly love about this kind of drama is when there are no misunderstandings. For someone like me, that is very sensitive towards angst and drama, I really enjoy it when I see a couple that trusts each other and goes through everything together.
OST
I have not a lot to say except that I fell in love with the Soundtrack. I downloaded the whole OST already and I have it stuck in my head all the time. It's just so fitting and cute and well, just plain good.
Should you watch it?
If you are like me, a sucker for fluffy and domestic romance with a little drama here and there that doesn't make you too anxious, you should give it a watch. If cliché and a few predictable plot lines aren't a turn off I genuinely think you will enjoy watching!
The rest of the review will contain spoilers:
What I didn't like:
- I was a bit disappointed that the second lead Du Lei was made very evil, if I may say so, in the last few episodes. I mean I get that he loves her but, please my dear, that's plain assault:( So I was happy that they cut him off from their friend group.
- The allergic to tears plot point could've been build on more. What I mean is that towards the end it was as if the writers forgot it existed. I first suspected that it would cause more of a drama but maybe that's just me.
What I liked:
- I said it earlier but, the MC chemistry is just off the charts. Amazing. One of my new comfort couples.
- I love when every character gets their happy ending. This show satisfied me.
- Dog
- The side couples weren't overwhelmingly great but I still rooted for all of them and loved their collective support and friendship.
- Another thing about the Main Couple, I love how they support each other and just have trust. Even though they fight sometimes it felt like they truly cared and that was what made this romance feel real.
- I can't pinpoint many other things right now but overall I just really looked forward each week to the new episodes. It is a nice show that I won't forget!

Those who dare
Before her execution, resistance fighter Sophie Scholl's lasts words were:" How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone willing to give himself up individually to a righteous cause? Such a fine, sunny day, and I have to go, but what does my death matter, if through us, thousands of people are awakened and stirred to action?”Mr Sunshine embodies the spirit of vain hope in the face of utter doom. When I first started watching this show I was mainly expecting a melodramatic love story between two people in a very difficult historical time. Yet, while watching Mr Sunshine i began to understand that the focus of this Series is not a forbidden love or the love rectangle or whatever you may call it. It is resistance, hopelessness and patriotism.
We follow Noblewoman Ae-Sin and American Soldier Eugene on a journey through their love. They both have their secrets, Eugene being a slave turned American soldier that wants to revenge his dead parents. Ae-Sin is a seemingly ignorant rich girl that is secretly fighting for the freedom of occupied Joseon, they both defy their own country and tradition but never their ideals.
What carries this drama is in my opinion the superb acting. As a very unpatriotic person and someone that usually struggles with melodramas I felt very connected to these multifaceted character ensemble. Even the people that seem to be the enemies at first or mere comical relief characters share their deep love with ther fellow humans through sacrifice and passion.
What you should take with you after finishing the show is that even when all efforts fail, all your loved ones get lost in the fight and nothing seems worth the cause, if someone is willing to stands up for themselves, many more are as well. And every single resistance will be worth it. Even if it's just vain hope.
I truly recommend watching this drama if you need a sorrowful but enjoyable drama that reflects upon the human condition.

Hear me out
Okay, to put it simply, this has more of a 2013 Youtube comedy sketch than an actual drama. Corny dialogue, anime-like hyperbolic acting, typical story-line that is weirdly put together. But in defence of this little piece of work here, it's a trash movie to laugh at. If you know Japanese dramas and anime/ manga, you know what the humour is like. This is basically manga pages come to life with wig-like hair and amateur acting. I was in a slump, I got this movie recommended and I was happy again. As simple as that. If you want a fun hour on a Tuesday night after your whole day sucked, just watch this and you might be happier again. I don't know about you but I laughed every 5 seconds at the ridiculousness of this one. It's not meant to be a good movie and that's fine. Was this review helpful to you?

Simplicity to return to
"Simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and thoughts, you return to the source of being." ~chinese philosopher Lao Tsu
This quote encapsulates what this drama represents to me. Suye and Xifan's chemistry doesn't birth from drama, misunderstanding or high stakes. It thrives from their simple lives and simple struggles that make the story incredibly down to earth.
If you are looking for a drama that makes you giggly and make you want to fall in love, this is the drama for you.
I don't think there is a lot to say that can't be explored better by you watching this drama as well. The story is slow paced while the romance is quickly palpable. Try it for yourself, i dearly recommend it.
This drama will definitely end up on my top ten of this year already.

A Promising Premise Hindered by Pacing
100 Days My Prince" earns its 8.5 stars for its blend of historical charm and humor, yet falls short in certain aspects. The compelling premise of an amnesiac prince navigating common life is engaging, with D.O's charismatic performance adding depth. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, injecting warmth into the romance. However, the pacing falters at times, hindering character development. While comedic moments land well, they occasionally overshadow the political intrigue. Furthermore, the resolution feels rushed, leaving loose ends. Despite these flaws, the show remains a worthwhile watch, delivering an enjoyable historical rom-com with room for improvement. Was this review helpful to you?
