for a while, i had only seen the web-novel readers bash on the manhwa but now both the web-novel readers and manhwa…
the manhwa is fine the art is good as well and it was nice seeing the scenes play out, here i am expecting disappointment. the swords are cannon and the guns just don't belong. all the awesome fight scenes will be ruined
as an avid reader I'm fearful and disappointed at the changes. the sword fighting is cannon so how can they change it to guns?! I think the point of the story is missed as well, dokja was a reader just like us and he unfortunately got to see his story play out. We, the ORV readers that read all 500+ chapters just like dokja is, can understand that the staff is famous but the story means a lot to us and the changes ruin it.
Rain-Payu's relationship is probably the healthiest, most charming one I've seen in BL so far. no excessive violence, rape, and they actually talk with each other. all the people that say their part is boring are you ok? anyways, this is a great show so far and I really recommend watching it. (watched 7 episodes so far)
I just LOVE how much context the show give us for everything! Totally not replacing important scenes with completely pointless and random ones. Could probably edit half the scenes out and still get the same story. Also, why are the actors acting so stiff and speaking unnaturally slow? Were they told to do that in order to fill air time? The story itself has a lot of potential, and the main actors do have great chemistry, too bad the directors did such a bad job in showing that.
