This movie is indeed so cruel. I was so shocked when the husband died because of children's prank and when Yun's brother actually blackmailed her to get money when a stranger didn't. Scenes of animal cruelty and young boys' sexual and physical abuse were even worse ㅠㅠ
The plot twist at the end got me so bad. Although a new hope emerged for the mother to continue searching for her child, my heart ached badly for Min Su who got tortured and abused and ended up dead for a false hope thinking that she was his mother, while he was mostly abandoned.
"DON'T FORGET, DON'T GIVE UP, PLEASE FIND US", These words pierced right into my heart. I'm pretty sure that, even if not mentioned, there are tons of real stories to back up the theme of this movie, so a mother should never give up on her child!!
