Wow, the eleventh episode was spectacular, especially those great fight scenes and sceneries. I also like how distinct costumes are for water people. Overall, it seems like it is from another timeline and very fitting for all girls and boys.

Also, it is so crazy how we got only two mainstream xianxia dramas with villain/anti-hero ml and they are always compared. But there are tons of dramas like Eternal Love, but I do not see people forcing their fav show into viewers' throats when they are watching a similar show.

Kinda wished they show more of how he became an emperor, how he interacts with people of his own tribe, and how he treats them(with suspicion, but still kinda respecting them). Humanizing his right hand could be better for a character like him. Also what he did do to the shaman of his brother? It could be really cool scenes as a way to show the uphill of TTJ, there was only a glimpse of his worries about being an emperor and his ways of tackling the pressure. Same with the worries of the Ye family and Xiao Lin, how war is truly affecting all those people. I feel like drama should not be so fast-paced when things come to politics/changes in character.

While I agree that none of them deserved what happened to them, TTJ is literally the last person to blame, he was a child when they decided to take care of him. It was their decision, and people can show gratitude in many ways, which does not include death. Why should he die? Yeah I know he was cold for letting her get raped, but she has also easily betrayed someone who she knew since childhood and did not have any support, who suffered more than them(cause they were adults at that time, he was not). I can understand all those characters, but TTJ does not act like a saint while those do.

Also, I am not a fan of multiple couples in cdrama, just hate that. I would rather if they had more equal bromance or female-female friendships, whether with the main couple or etc.

yeah, I mean she is not good and that is the point of her character. But her lover does not know that and knows only by her image. Such a dull pair right now. I feel like secondary leads who are already in established relationships can only work when they have so little screen time but interesting past/insane chemistry. They have none of that and are advertised as a couple so much, probably even more that other secondary couples. I don't like that.

If they can play it good then Ye Bingchan who is truly wretched or maybe morally grey, can make their pair interesting. Cause all pairs here have opposing characters and values, but then I wonder if we can ship them. Like it still doesn’t sold their ship

I just love how TTJ can be described as a creepy psychopath but also as a Disney princess. Also love the third couple, they’ve got that that chemistry

Uhh costumes...but whatever, I just hope this is gonna be good drama at least
