Yes, also one of his rivals mentioned his mother in a disrespectful manner after sun jae quit swimming, it would have been more effective if we learn more about that. Maybe his relationship with his mother before she died like how some kdramas do montages of their loved ones to make us feel more connected to the feelings of character.
If i was Im sol, sun jae would be my third or fourth priority, 1st would be my legs since the accident was way more close in terms of timing , then my family , then sun jae. Anyway his fate of dying is 15 years later in og timeline, i would still have time to fix it.

1-IOTNBO- Of course ko mun yeong ! She already had a toxic behaviour from her childhood . She obviously manipulated Gangtae and had an obsession with him . She had a traumatic childhood which is the reason . She did many things which had made him uncomfortable .
2-True beauty- cause when the suho and jukyung were dating...due to his action jukyung had cried many times , i feel like she cried more when they were dating . And he even broke up with her without telling a reason (he was suffering too but instead of asking her emotional support he broke up with her) After 2 years she purposefully tried to forget about him (which is understandable) But suho came back and manipulated her again and tried to get back with her, which they did . I guess this was the reason why many people disliked suho's character in drama. In my opinion it was annoying and toxic.
3- Cheese in the trap- No hate on the actor but i did not like yoo jung's character at all. He is obviously very possessive , stalker-ish , act like he has a control over female lead . This is also the reason why many people had second lead syndrome for the drama (i am a victim too)
